150 acres of river flats with beautiful big gums, lagoons and 1km length of ovens river frontage. A beautiful grassy, shaded area with stunning views, privacy and seclusion. The site has a lovely sweeping bend that has water that's suitable for families to swim in with some shallow water for littlies to paddle in. There is also some lovely sand for the kids to play in. Locally you are in the middle of the two famous valleys which offer some amazing gourmet experiences. You are within minutes from the King valley or the ovens Valley. And 50mins from Bright with all the beautiful towns and attractions on the way. You're spoilt for choice in this location for wineries, restaurants, berry farms. Famous town of Beechworth is only 30mins. Ideal location if you feel like leaving the magic camp ground that will provide you with a real sense of peace and relaxation with not a building in sight. Campsite 2
Just a quick one nighter at Campsite 1. mid July bitterly cold and damp, but quite pleasant with a roaring fire. Another perk of camping in July, we had the entire property to ourselves (just us and the many cows). 4wD required in July, road is very muddy and slippery. Host was very responsive, I’ll be back in the warmer months.

Our first winter camp
Amazing spot.! Our first winter camp and we got some great weather. Will certainly be back in summer with the river a bit higher, and warmer.!

Wonderful Willowood
We loved Willowood. We enjoyed a very relaxing and peaceful stay. The sites were easy to access, the ground was flat for setup and the spots were well spaced apart on the river bank. There was plenty of shade if it is hot and plenty of firewood supplied to keep you warm if it’s not. The fire pits were excellent. We all loved the sand and rocky parts of the river bed and it was flowing very well. Overall a wonderful stay and we will be back if we are in the area. Sally was very responsive to messages.

Second time I have stayed at Willowood and both times have been great. A fantastic spot next to the river.

What a wonderful property, nice flat area to set up camp metres from the river. We spend four relaxing nights with family and friends. “How’s the serenity” Hats off to Sally fantastic, welcoming host😁 A+

Absolutely loved the place and could not recommend it enough. Fire wood addition is best value for money you can get and first time we have ever turned up to a hipcamp to find the photos did not do the place justice. We will be back
