At the foot of Mt Korong, just off the Calder Highway, in North Central Victoria, lies Wetlands – Gatjin Dja, a 250-acre picturesque, nature-lovers’ adventure playground. Our beautiful property provides privacy and seclusion. We offer 100-hectares of remnant and revegetation of box Ironbark woodland for some outdoor exploration. Wake up to absolutely stunning views of Mt Korong and its granitic ridges, take walks in the shade of Grey Box, Golden Wattle and Red Gums, wander around the property and catch sight of the local kangaroos and wallabies in our park-like conservation reserve. We have huge clear night skies, great for stargazing, with perfect conditions for astronomers. A bird lovers paradise with plenty of opportunities to view and photograph a wide variety of threatened woodland species including Hooded Robins and Painted Honeyeaters. Dogs permitted, in the Woodland Views camp area only, and must always be under owners’ control. Dogs are not permitted in the conservation areas. No toilets or showers, BYO, leave no trace. Campfires permitted. This secluded camping site is surrounded by remant Grey Box herb-rich woodland, look out for Kangaroos, and your not far from an ephemeral wetland. A relaxed camping area,  with firepit, faboulous views of Mt Korong and plenty of clear sky nights to watch for shooting stars. BBQS and tank water available at the Camp Kitchen - 200 Mtrs away.   There are NO Toiletting Facilities, so you must have your own toilet and shower facilities or use the township facilities 15 KLMs away

Stunning property, lovely hosts
Trudy and James were absolutely absolutely wonderful hosts. They are incredibly passionate about the rehabilitation work on their property and it was a privilege to be able to stay there. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a few days! The towns nearby are small and lovely, it was very easy to go for a quick drive to get more firewood when I ran out. Will definitely be back!

Spring bushland getaway
Great place to take the family for some time out in the bush during the Spring school holidays! Kids enjoyed riding their bikes along the numerous re-veg & kangaroo trails. The dogs loved their dip in the top dam. Lots of wattle in flower, even some paper daisies amongst the grasses. The re-veg looks to be a success with lots of self-regeneration evident too. Great place to get lost in (easy to find your way back). Had no trouble with ants & not even a mozzie despite being camped close to the receding lower wetland. Friendly hosts, highly recommended!

Trudy and James have a great quiet place to camp, plenty of space multiple options. Perfect spot to swim and a great fire pit. Firewood available to purchase from the camp kitchen. They both showed us a few options where we could set up and are very knowledgeable on the history and current state of their property. Its a short 10 min drive to Wedderburn. Would definitely recommend a stay here. We will definitely be back.

Trudy and James were very welcoming and spoke to us about the history of the regeneration of the land. We loved the peace and privacy at this camp-site. There was lots of space to go for walks, relax and unwind. Our dog loved the open spaces to explore and was great having the whole place to ourselves. We didn't use the camp kitchen, which was available for use. We used both dams as it was a very hot stay. Would visit again, thank you.
