Westbury Ranch is a 10 acre property situated in Westbury Victoria. Perfect for those travelling long distances with equine friends. Stop over and enjoy a rest, shower and your choice of powered or no power sites. Overnight yards and/or horse safe paddocks are available. This price is for two horses. Extra horses will incur an additional charge. Campers can enjoy the 60x35 sand arena, round yard and bush block. Self contained parking area for those in a gooseneck or book the common area for use of the shower, toilet, TV and lounge. No horse, no problem, you are welcome to camp although note the camping area is approximately 2 acres and visible from the house. This property is better suited for those passing through needing a rest and a place to unload horses for the night. Great for those who wish to camp for the first time with horses and need that security.Westbury Ranch is a 10 acre flat easy to access property, currently under development to be a full equine ranch with cow sorting arena, stables, horse and cattle yards. At present, it offers the basics of space and privacy. Your camp grounds back onto the diary farm behind us and at this stage we are accepting only one group at a time. Price includes up to 4 people (4x adults or adults and children) Horse Yards (4 in total) are there to be used at an extra of $10 per horse per night. There are NO FACILITIES so you must have your own toilet and shower facilities. Bore water and fresh water is available to use, please bring a container to transport this to the camping area. We ask that you take your waste with you in a portable toilet system. These can be hired through Moe toilet hire (03) 5127 7114. A fire pit and wood is provided free of charge and can be used outside of fire restriction times. The Willow Grove Pub (The Irish) is just 10minutes away and Blue Rock Dam only 20minutes. Dogs are welcome but we ask that you tie them up if they chase the steers currently on the property. The steers do have access to the camp area or they can be locked out. Moondarra State Park is 15minutes away and offers excellent bush walking and horse trail riding options. For the adventurous, we can lead you out on a 5-6 hour Erica pub horse ride ($90 per group) and float you back (or stay the night at the pub and ride the next day or we can float back the next day). We will supply maps for other horse trails ranging from 2.5-4 hours that you can follow yourself, although we are happy to discuss leading these too. Stay tuned as the hut in the bush/camping area will soon be completed and have a clamping option with full ensuite. The space currently offered is suitable for floats, tents, swags, camper trailer, caravans and motorhomes.
