Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
This is an open area with trees. Plenty of space.  There are no amenities here so you must be self-contained and leave no trace.  Dog friendly & campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood is available for free. Small working farm with remnant trees, 25km from Echucha. Camping area is approximately 10 acres. All rubbish to be taken with you, appropriate and respectful behaviour at all times. Fires permitted except in high fire danger period. Plenty of native wildlife including birds.  The property is located about an hour to Bendigo. Bendigo is Victoria's fourth largest city, located around 150 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. This is an open area with trees. We enjoyed our stay at Tuxedo Rye. Its only under 30min drive from Echuca and heading over there during Easter break wasnt that crowded. Lincoln greeted us soon after we settled and gave us tips around the area.

Country life at its best, relax and enjoy the beautiful wide-open space, at this private and quiet property. Experience the soring birds of prey, while your puppies run to their hearts content, yet close to provisions in Lockington or even a visit to Echuca! We all (especially our 2 mini aussies) loved our time at Tuxedo Rye! Lincoln is a great host. Defiantly highly recommended and a must return for us!

Dog friendly, relaxing getaway
Remote feel, safe area to camp but only 15 minutes to Lockington (Foodworks, amazing Waffle/ice cream shop) and 25 minutes to Echuca historic port. Camp great for our 2 Dogs to run off energy, fire pit with lots of kindling lying around to have fire (need to take own firewood to keep it burning) and star gaze. Lovely to relax and watch wedge tailed eagles soar above. Great communication from Lincoln and friends Faye and Andrew who popped in to check we were ok.
