The property, Springwater, is on six acres amongst the tall trees and has two ponds served by a natural spring. We only have one campsite available at the very rear beside the forest so you will have complete privacy. There is an area of thick native forest and a stand of the critically endangered bush, the Round-leaf Pomaderris, right near the camping area. There is an abundance of birdlife at the camping location, including kookaburras, fairy wrens, greater shrike thrushes, robins, bellbirds, wedge-tail eagles, magpies and owls (namely boobooks). We are within easy reach of Toolangi State Forest with many walks and trails, including the WirraWilla Rainforest Walk and the Kalatha Giant Mountain Ash tree walk. This area is also popular for 4 wheel driving and there are plenty of tracks in the nearby state forest if you have the correct gear, vehicle and an appreciation for the wilderness. Healesville, Yarra Glen and Kinglake are equal distance away (18-20 minute drives) with services, plenty of cafes, restaurants, wineries and shopping: Healesville: Coles, IGA, Aldi Yarra Glen: IGA Kinglake: Foodworks Relax around the fire in the evenings (out of the fire danger season) and enjoy some great star gazing. Sorry, no pets. There is a toilet block onsite with a camp toilet but you can bring your own camping toilet if you desire. Please leave our beautiful spot as you found it, take your rubbish with you and respect the natural environment :)The property, Springwater, is on six acres amongst the tall trees of Toolangi and has two ponds served by a natural spring flowing 24 hours a day. There is a row boat available on the top pond. We only offer one (large-ish) campsite area available to maintain a level of privacy but multiple tents can be erected or two camper vehicles utilized. There is an area of thick native forest and a stand of critically endangered round leaf Pomaderris right near the camping area. There is an abundance of bird life around the camping location. The Yea river is around 100 metres away and can be accessed through the forest. You will here its gentle flow from the campsite. We are presently creating an array of sculptures - large fruits, eggs and fungi - which are progressively being located around the property and in the forest areas to provide additional enjoyment and contemplation. There is a "Philosopher's Trail" which encourages you to explore some of the open forest area with a scattering of philosophical quotes from famous people throughout history pinned to trees. As part of this trail you are encouraged to decipher a hidden message made up of letters from each of the ten quotes. Perfect spot for the maiden voyage in our little van. Campsite & property in general are beautiful and as per the pictures in the listing. Adams comms and tips for things to see and do in the area were spot on. Wirrawilla rainforest walk & the nearby blueberry farm were highlights. Great spot for a couple of nights away from it all. But not too far away from it all!

Not worth
Tent
Got carried away by pictures .. the place is totally not worth $150+ for a night. When booking I hired boat and fire woods which is a joke. The pond shown in pictures is very small and muddy and not accessible at all . Not sure why they have boat there . Instead of fire wood they placed kindles there which can be fired for 30 min max. The host messaged that he will be there to invite us ..forget about physical presence, I tried calling him multiple times but no response..

Adam’s campsite is very beautiful and organised. There were so many beautiful birds in the trees and the spot was mostly sheltered from the wind.

Quaint little spot,

Nice little spot. Not entirely secluded, and get very muddy with rain about. Nice property to walk around, and great little spring pond. Shame the wood that was supplied was wet. You would have to bring a lot of wood yourself in the wet weather.

Private spot on a large block with toilet, water and bin accessible. Very handy if you can’t / don’t carry these things. Couple tiny homes nearby but not close enough to be intrusive. Felt safe and close to main road for easy access to local attractions and nearby Healesville. Would return.
