Welcome to The Farm at Journey Unknown Buffalo! Our property is a 6.5 acre hobby farm consisting of chickens, sheep, lambs, koalas, various birds and our resident dogs. There are 3 self-contained sites available to choose from that are all located around our beautiful dam and there's even a doggy paddock for your fur babies to run around in. Site 1: PREMIUM - Private and Peaceful Site 2: POWERED - Easy Access, Electrified and Extra Large Site 3: DRIVE-THRU - Drive-Thru and De-Stress All sites include a fire pit, picnic table with seats and are dog friendly! We also have firewood for sale at $10 a bag and a carton of eggs for $5. You can pay cash for these through our honesty box where the collection station is. Come down to the country and explore what South Gippsland has to offer. We’ll tell you all our favourite places to visit. Site 3 - Drive-Thru
Peaceful Paradise
What a great property this is. We stayed for 2 nights, will come back again to explore the region more. Sites are easily accessible. Caretaker very friendly and accommodating. Firepit and picnic tables provided for each site. Very beautiful and peaceful. Resident dogs come for a pat. A little lamb were born during our time there. Fresh eggs were beautiful too. Loved our stay. Thank you Troy and Laura for creating this space.

We had a lovely time at The Farm at Buffalo. Troy, Laura and Billy were very welcoming. Great spot to spend a few nights, with plenty of room and privacy on Site 1. The weather was unfortunately a little wet and windy for our stay, but there is plenty to do and see around the area.

Great stop for a relax and nature
We loved our stop over at @the farm! Our 3 year old loved patting the sheep and lambs and chasing the hens. Was great to sit by the fire and relax, and watch an amazing sunset!

Camping in peace
We loved Troy and Laura's hipcamp at Buffalo. Was a beautiful peaceful place to stay. Good size campsites, clean, tidy farm, the dogs, chickens, sheep to admire. Close to beautiful beaches, gorgeous little country towns, and an awesome cidery. Fresh eggs every day. Bill (Troy's dad) came over to welcome us, made us feel at home. Troy, Laura and Harrison were the best hosts as well. They came over and chatted with us for a few hours, while having a few drinks together. It was so interesting listening to all their adventures. They are the most beautiful and kind family. All round we had an awesome stay there, couldn't recommend their hipcamp highly enough. Thank you, will definitely be back!!
