Welcome to The Farm at Journey Unknown Buffalo! Our property is a 6.5 acre hobby farm consisting of chickens, sheep, lambs, koalas, various birds and our resident dogs. There are 3 self-contained sites available to choose from that are all located around our beautiful dam and there's even a doggy paddock for your fur babies to run around in. Site 1: PREMIUM - Private and Peaceful Site 2: POWERED - Easy Access, Electrified and Extra Large Site 3: DRIVE-THRU - Drive-Thru and De-Stress All sites include a fire pit, picnic table with seats and are dog friendly! We also have firewood for sale at $10 a bag and eggs for $5 a carton. You can add these to your site booking or pay cash on arrival through an honesty box. Come down to the country and explore what South Gippsland has to offer. We’ll tell you all our favourite places to visit. Great experience
This was our first Hipcamp, and we loved it. Easy access to site 1 which is next to paddocks, with friendly cows. The site is nestled around the far end of the dam which at night time you fall asleep to the sound of the frogs. Great spot as well if you have dogs as there is a large dog paddock right next to you. The use of the fire drum was great and picnic table and chairs if you need them. Such a great spot to stay and day trip to surround areas. The hosts Troy and Laura and family are very down to earth and was great meeting them. We will definitely be going back there.

This is an amazing place to stay , hosts Laura , Troy , King Billy and Harrison are extremely helpful And friendly . I highly recommend this HIPcamp the premium site for our 21.6 ft van with an extended draw bar easily and had enough room for our dog enclosure which is 6m x 3m .. Plenty of room for the car as well, then even more space for the fire pit . Site level and the water feature next to the site made it so peaceful. Having a leash free dog park was perfect for our 2 dogs. Highly recommended getting the eggs fresh and extremely tasty. Having firewood for sale and the hosts providing a fire pit and Picnic table made the stay so relaxing.
