Nestled in the valley of a thousand hills, Strath Creek Station is your ideal quick getaway, being only a 1 1/2-hour drive from Melbourne CBD. Situated on 90 acres with direct access to the King Parrot Creek, we are dog-friendly and have a large secure dog park for your pooch to exercise and play, but dogs must be on lead in camping areas. There is a large flat camping area that can accommodate any size self contained caravan, including fifth wheelers or horse goosenecks. A large rustic rotunda with BBQs is available for those lazy afternoons spent relaxing by the creek. For cooler nights, there is a huge firebox.Bring your self contained camping vehicle (with greywater tanks if you can’t contain grey water please ask us for a grey water collection container we are happy to help you out ) and camp with security and peace of mind for yourself and your pooch. We have a large fully fenced off lead dog play area where you can let your pet run around & chase the ball & also with seating to watch them play . Enjoy easy access to the King Parrot Creek and take advantage of shelter in the large rustic rotunda with a BBQ and firebox. Strictly NO chemical or soaps to be used in or around the creek for example washing dishes, people bathing in the creek with soap. Our priority is to preserve our beautiful water ways and surrounding areas. If you wish to book a larger groups just book out the sites per head until full then book the next site & do the same , that way we will move the camp sites so you are all together. There's plenty of room for the kids to run and play, along with a large, secure off-lead dog park. Explore the region with hiking, bike trails, and wetlands. We also now have available local organic produce fruit ,nuts ,berry's, jams, just over the road & they make beautiful honey, free range eggs and kimmys beautiful home made bread. just preorder what you like and we can have it here ready on your arrival

Loved this site! The hosts were fantastic, made us feel right at home. We’re arrived late in the evening, Glen & Kim were fantastic with communication and waiting up for us. Always felt safe We were lucky to stay on a quiet weekend & got VIP treatment with our camping area and creek to ourselves. Bonus: fresh baked bread brought to us! It rained on the 2nd day, which had no impact to our visit, we still enjoyed a swim & cooked breakfast on the BBQ in the rotunda. Toilets available at each site, plus water, fire & available fire wood Glens DIY country style creations are another nice touch . Can’t wait to return 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

My wife and I had a spectacular time here. Glen was an accomadating host who is very proud of his property, the maintenance and upkeep of his property is impeccable. A well thought of and planned design of the campsites won't disappoint. We could easily come back here time and time again! Thanks Glen 👍

Camping with dogs
Tent
My two dogs and I loved Strath Creek Station. We particularly loved the open space and views and being able to access the creek and have a fire. I camped on unpowered site 3 which was a dry and level grassy field with views of the horse paddock and had ample space between sites and easy access to clean portaloos. There was a fence between the camp site and the creek. The fenced dog yard was a real treat and perfect to allow my dogs to have a safe, good run around and a neighbouring cockatoo to say hello to. I loved the local pub at Flowedale where I picked up some ice and charged my phone where the locals were full of friendly banter and personality. I recommend ordering some fresh sour dough which was delicious and I also purchased fire wood which was enough to last me two nights. I was embarrassed when my dogs got away and ran across the paddock while I was packing up and was reminded about the importance of keeping them on lead. There was a communal area which had bbqs although I didn’t use them. It looked like it had power however I don’t believe any of it is connected.
