This charming and totally unique 1860's 1860s-styled solid stone and timber Miners Cottage offers peace and tranquility. Nestled amongst towering gums and abundant native wildlife including our resident Kangaroos and Kookaburras, this property is the perfect destination for a romantic getaway. Located in Gordon in the beautiful Central Highlands, the Cottage is just over an hour's drive from the Melbourne CBD and within a 1.4 km slightly elevated walk to dine at the funky Gordons Cafe or the Pub.
The Cottage has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two single beds. The bathroom has a double spa bath and a double shower with two shower heads. The Cottage has reverse cycle air-conditioning and a firebox wood heater ready to go and complete with a supply of firewood.
We do not allow camping on the property or having a campfire!
We do not have an oven, but we have the following cooking facilities;
* Microwave
* Portable electric hot plate
* Electric frypan
* Electric skillet
* Saucepans
* BBQ
We have a small laundry, but no washing machine.
We do not provide wi-fi.
Guests have full access to the Cottage and the surroundings.
Generous breakfast provisions are provided for the first morning.
To access the second bedroom, please book for 3 or 4 people.
