If you’re looking for a place to set up camp while enjoying a hike through Kinglake National Park then our little space is just made for you. There are plenty of day walks starting right next to your camp or you can go for a swim in the nearby King Parrot Creek. With just 40min drive to Yarra Valley Wineries you are in a perfect location to set up camp and explore the region. Our pet friendly property is located in a quiet neighbourhood, easily accessible from the road (no 4WD needed) and ideal for swags, tents or campers. Power, tank water, bins and compost toilet are included! It’s only a short wander to the Silver Creek where a 4WD track leads you into the Mount Disappointment State Forrest. The space is part of our front yard and our property is located at the end of a quiet no through road. Your camp site is tucked in between the trees away from our family house with plenty of flat space. Sit at the picnic table or around the fire pit (season permitting) and take in the piece and quiet with plenty of wildlife to enjoy.Welcome to our lovely Silver Creek Escape! Silver Creek Escape

Great site for a group of friends and a pet. It is at the end of the road so there might be some cars driving past but felt it was private enough anyway. The toilet is so clean and odourless everyone was really impressed. The owner came and said hello. We loved our experience and so glad to have booked this place. Hope we weren’t too loud. Thank you!

Basecamp for hikers!

We camped here last weekend. it is great little spot with water, power and toilets for short camping trip with friends and family. I highly recommend this camp site if you are into hiking. Lots of easy to moderate hiking tracks very close by. Clara, thanks for hosting us. See you again.

First camping trip

We (couple of dads) took our boys on their first camping trip to experience a couple of nights outdoors. What made the trip so good was: - easy communication before and during our stay. - welcoming and friendly nature from Clara and Caleb. - easy directions to the site. - flat ground for tent setup. - layout of site with access to water, power and toilet. - well maintained facilities. - proximity to creek and hiking trails. Really loved our stay and will be back again! Anyone thinking about taking kids camping (first or second time) but not sure if you want to go off grid first time, this is a great option. We felt right at home.

Camping with mates

Great little spot. Hosts were extremely friendly and accommodating. Location was nice being at the end of a street. The toilet was super clean and spider free. Access to water and power was also a win.
