Bring the family and friends for a secluded and private wilderness experience surrounded by 60 acres of forest. This totally separate wilderness camping paddock sits within our organic permaculture farm property where we grow fruits, veggies, nuts and flowers. Set up camp in the shade on a gently sloping 2 acre paddock all to yourself - that's right - we are offering only one site listing (for you and up to 29 guests) situated about 1 km from the main farm house and completely surrounded by forest. A genuine wilderness experience with forest (tree) bathing, spring fed creeks and total peace for you and your group very close to Melbourne. You can hopefully spot our resident platypus and kangaroos, wallabies, echidnas, wombats etc. There’s also abundant bird life including lyre birds and eagles. Explore all the Yarra Ranges has to offer including a short walk to Shiprock Falls. Grab a coffee or pizza in nearby Gembrook and checkout some farm produce from your hosts before you leave. We have added a composting toilet, a drinking water tank and a bush pole shelter with cold water kitchen sink, phone charger ports, lights and hot water to a private shower and a picnic table with seats under cover. We have an adjacent fire pit area with tree log seating. You can order firewood from us too and a Coleman gas cooker with gas bottle (see extras). Most of the materials are repurposed from another property or scavenged from our forest. Great space in the middle of a foresty area, with a shelter and picnic table that came in really handy when it rained. The toilet was clean. There was a great fire pit area. Good walk to shiprock falls. We had a great time, would recommend. Thanks Rob.

The site was amazing and is perfect for families. Secluded and very serene. The facilities was a bonus and Rob was a wonderful host. Will definitely be back.
