Redbank farm has been home to five generations of Superfine Merino wool Farmers. The charming homestead is set on 1000 acres of rolling hills, lush trees, and dams that offer plentiful grazing to sheep and cattle. Metcalfe's rural landscape still remains largely untouched, giving a real feeling of freedom and fresh air, filled with wildlife and sensational scenic adventures to enjoy, like the stunning cascades just up the road. Redbank offers sites across 200 acres of land, SITE 1 a main area offers 4 large sites suited to campers wanting to be super close to toilet, shower, camp kitchen, and playgrounds, which is a major hit with the kids making it a popular spot for families. The camp kitchen has dining space and barbecue facilities. There are about 6 paddock sites that are still within walking distance to all facilities but are nicely spread out to provide guests with there own space. We have 4 sites that you will either need to be a self-sufficient camper, or keen for a hike to facilities as these sites offer a lot more privacy and would need 4wD to access. 2 more sites that you must completely self sufficient and have 4wd skills. We are a no trace camp ground and ask you to take all waste with you when you leave. Dogs are permitted in camps but must be kept on a leash to protect our livestock. Redbank is a working Farm and you will likely see or hear evidence of this during your stay, but we are very considerate of our campers and have had a wonderful experience sharing our land so far and had very happy campers. BEYOND REDBANK156 Campers will find many more attractions in the area, Great spots for hiking, swimming, fishing or just straight up relaxing in the serenity. TRUPENS waterfalls are close by CASCADES and the Coliban River runs through Metcalfe AND EPPOLOCK just up the road. A short drive of 10-15min in all directions will take you to one of the funky little historic towns Kyneton, Castlemaine, Redesdale, and Malmsbury, and another 15 mins on to Daylesford and Trentham all filled with brilliant restaurants, cafes, vineyards, vibrant retail and market scene. What more could you possibly need for a great getaway?

Great weekend!!

Amazing experience! Everything there is to love about camping without the set up or pack up! Crystal was fantastic to deal with and kids had a ball - beautiful property. Will definitely be back.

Doggy friendly camping

Loved camping at pitched! Having a tent and all cooking equipment ready made it so easy to getaway last minute. Crystals property is so pretty with lots of land to explore. The sunset and sunrise was amazing and hiking up the hill to see it is a must. loved the outdoor bath tub and fairy lights the most. Very pretty. Loved waking up to all the cute animal noises in the morning. And doggy friendly is a big bonus! 🐶🤩🍳🍹🏕🌞

I loved my stay at Redbank156! Such a beautiful property and love the little props around the farm which made for some fun photo opportunities. Crystal was very welcoming and offered to help me start the fire. Will absolutely be back with the kids!!

We had a really lovely stay at Crystal's in June! There were two other groups there but our sites were so far apart that it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Such a gorgeous property, and so many thoughtful touches! I didn't use the hot shower personally, but my friend did and she said it was great - almost like having a shower in the comfort of your own bathroom.
