The Property is situated on the pristine Wallagaraugh river near the Victorian and New South Wales border, 8km down an all weather dirt road, easily accessible for caravaners and boaters and is approximately 45 km from Eden and 40 km from Mallacoota by car. very isolated but has limited phone, internet reception, 15 minutes down river there's a licenced restaurant for pizzas, meals, etc at Gypsy Point and another 20 minutes your at Mallacoota on the coast, if you need fuel, supplies, etc, if your lucky and the entrance is open do some ocean fishing, 5 to 10 minutes up river the bullring , proceeding with caution you will go through a temperate rainforest and end up at the rock wall, and fresh water pools. Abundant birds and wildlife a haven for bird watchers, canoeists, and fishermen, plenty of fish, bream, flathead, tailor, estuary pearch, bass, Victorian fishing licence needed or just chill and relax on the river bank. if your more into bushwalking or sightseeing there are several national parks within a 30 minute drive or boat trip, one site has small tinny access to the river and the other is good for a 20 ft boat, can accommodate up to 30 people at one site and 15 at the other, at both sites you cannot have fires or camp in fenced off river frontage area only camp in designated camping areas, you will have to provide your own camp toilet, shower, firewood, etc and take all waste away when you leave, I can arrange if needed by prior notice portable site toilet, firewood, launching of larger boat, for large gatherings, fishing comps, etc. No firewood collection, motorbike riding or 4x4ing on site, dogs are allowed but please keep them on a leash, there are calves, sheep and wildlife around. This site is very isolated, and has a beach with shallow waters to the middle of river, can launch small tinnies.
