Welcome to Nanadhong Views. Nanadhong is the local indigenous name for the Cathedral Range. We are located on the western slope of the Cathedral with beautiful views to its peak as well as across the Acheron valley to the Black Range and South to Dom Dom and the Black Spur. This property was previously a home site but was burned out in the 2009 fires. Now being returned to nature and available for camping only. Two dams and a seasonal creek attract birds and local wildlife. A total of 30 acres is available for exploring and enjoying the views. This private location has a single site with power and water, suitable for two vans or several camper trailers, a flushing toilet and further grassed areas suitable for tents and camper trailers. A camp shelter currently under construction will provide somewhere out of the weather with lighting, water and power available. The property is located 30 minutes from Lake mountain where you can ski during winter or hike and mountain bike during summer. Lake Eildon is also 30 minutes away and a great venue for fishing, swimming and boating. The Acheron, Rubicon and Goulburn rivers are close by and suitable for fishing and kayaking. Mountain bike riders can also try the tracks at Buxton or Eildon. There are many hiking/walking options including the historical Rubicon Valley just 20 minutes away. If you are into 4wd’ing or trail bikes there are many tracks in the Black Range across the road or the Big River area.Welcome to Nanadhong Views. Noice
We enjoyed camping in Nanadhong Views. Consuela and Tony are gracious hosts and have a beautiful spot. Good sunrise/sunset and kangaroos in the morning. There’s a creek nearby and a good walking track for campers. Campers have 15 acres of accessible land and the best toilet you will ever get while camping. Fire pits are provided and you can buy some firewood for a fee. We took our dog and he had a fabulous time. Not sure if it was due to the time of year or angle of the land but traffic was easily heard at night when it’s really quiet. Other than that it’s a bloody beautiful spot with beautiful people to boot. All thanks to our hosts for providing us with a place to stay and making us feel welcome on the land.

Absolutely wonderful site, so easy to set up camp, and the power, water, and toilet make it so easy for those of us just starting out in our camping journey! Especially appreciated the fire pit and big supply of firewood from Connie!

What a beautiful space to be able to camp in, and with great facilities - a couple of power and water points, plus the real bonus of a flushing loo, with thoughtful power in there in case you need it. Despite the modern conveniences, there's 15 acres of land to explore, beautiful views of the Cathedral Ranges and all the Yarra Valley has to offer to explore around the place. Would definitely recommend, especially to anyone earlier in their camping experience who needs those little extra bits of convenience to make their stay easy.

What’s not to love !
Loved our weekend getaway. The area was clean, private and surrounded with views of mountains. The hosts were terrific, directions were clear and simple. Communication was always prompt. The luxury of a clean, flushing toilet was an added benefit. Each morning we woke to the sounds of kookaburras laughing and the occasional cow mooing. Highly recommend & will be returning,

A Magical Spot
We had such a lovely time on Consuela's land. The spot is perfect and Consuela was really accommodating. The flush toilet was a nice luxury and so was having firewood delivered and ready for us. We'll definitely be back :)
