Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our property is a 5 minute drive out of the township of Castlemaine. It is a total of 60 acres with minimal fencing. About 20 acres are cleared paddock and the rest is native box forest. Enjoy picturesque views across the open paddock to the dam, watch the kangaroos, or sit back and relax in the forest. On-site enjoy camping and strolling around the property, or nearby explore the historic towns of Maldon, Newstead or Castlemaine. Camp fires allowed in designated fire places. Dogs are allowed on lead. Must be self contained.

What a stunning block in a secluded little beautiful area that has been maintained and well looked after by the lovely owners, waking up in the morning cooking brekky by the campfire in this little corner of the world was just wonderful!

Tranquil Views
Oh wow. What a beautiful spot to camp for the past 3 nights. Jules and Kat are very welcoming and their campsite is very tidy with a well made road in to it. The scenery is exquisite with the view over the dam, with the local wildlife paying the odd visit through the night as well. This is a peaceful tranquil setting only minutes from town and surrounded by beautiful bush to wander through. The provided firepit was a great asset to cook all our meals on too This place is now on my " best camps" list and we will return again and for a longer stay next time.

It was a lovely quite and peaceful weekend. Saw some kangaroos and we had a great stay.
