Our property, called 'Number 1', has been family owned for 5 generations and operates as a working cattle breeding farm. It backs onto the beautiful Pyrennes Ranges, and is surrounded by state forest on all sides. On the northern boundary we border the pristine Mt Sugarloaf Reservoir stocked with Redfin and home to some beautiful wildlife. We are in close proximity to some well known wineries of the region such Summerfields, Mt Avoca and The Pyrenees. Enjoy a quick day out to any of these wineries and it will be a day filled with delightful food and superb wine. If you'd rather enjoy the great outdoors, Number 1 will provide endless amounts of entertainment and fun outdoor activities. Make sure to say hello to all the resident cattle, goats, and horses during your stay!

Rick met us on arrival and showed us the site and couldn't have been more helpful. Huge spot and very private and quiet. Loads of flat ground, great firepit area. We'll be back.

Nice and Quiet
A great little spot. Nice and quiet. We had the whole place to ourselves being the only ones booked in for the week. Rick was a great host, meeting and guiding us in on arrival. We were allowed to stay as long as we wanted on the last day too. A short walk away is the Sugarloaf Reservoir which you can have a swim in.

Woodlands site
Very Peaceful
What a great hipcamp. Rick was a fantastic host (he was in town and we followed him to the hipcamp right to our site, that was awesome of him to do that). The woodland site was very peaceful, just perfect to sit and listen to the abundance of bird life. Will definitely rebook this site again.

Dry creek site
Great site, flat, open and tidy. Very private on the Dry Creek Bed side, cool little spot for the kids to go down into the creek bed. Rick is a fantastic host and did everything to make sure we were all good to go
