We are 7km from town.The Maldon Historical Reserve, (state park) is across the road.  Family friendly, children are not in the head count, bike or horse riding, gold prospecting and relaxing.   Mt Tarrengower is just there, Lake Cairn Curran, just down the road.  Three Wedge Tail Eagle Nests, (find them)Tawny Frog Mouth's, Parrot's and Gallah'sGecko's Skink's and Goanna's. Scorpion's, Trap, door's and Wolf Spiders.  Fantastic Sun Sets, and unbelievable night skies. There are no facilities here, campers must byo and leave no trace. Had a brilliant nights sleep under heaps of stars. Rob was very accomodating and the camp had views over the valley toward the west. Great Sunset!!

Chill and pretty
Had a lovely night here! Easy access in our 2wd, nice clear spot to set up camp. Great star gazing, scenic property, open spaces which the dogs loved, lots of firewood and short drive into town for a yummy coffee in the morning. Will definitely come back !

A great location just out of town but on a very quiet road. Host was very welcoming and even cut some firewood for us on arrival.
