As others have said you can miss the turn off but follow the instructions and slow down and you’ll find it first go. The ground is hard but there was a hammer onsite which I was thankful for because my rubber mallet couldn’t do the job. However, minor items compared to this little spot. It’s quiet and has beautiful views plus, there’s an extra fee that you have to pay Maggie the Magpie who will hang around and jump on all your gear until it’s fed.
The sites well elevated and generally a lovely spot.

We have come here a few times and will keep coming back! It is so peaceful. Super close to Healesville but it feels like you’re miles away. Allira sends instructions before your trip so you can find your way to the spot, but it’s pretty straight forward. We always look forward to our next visit

Private Camping close to Town
This was an excellent camping spot - I highly recommend this stay if you're looking for something private for yourself and your partner or a small crew. Close to local wineries and the infamous Four Pillars Gin Distillery

Heaven on earth! Loud as hell!
We booked a 2-night stay but unfortunately had to cut our trip short due to my son's upset stomach. Nevertheless, this place truly is paradise on earth! Nestled among towering trees, our campsite offered breathtaking surroundings and an immersive nature experience.
Arriving at night in the rain made finding the site a bit challenging, echoing previous reviewers' comments. A small sign would go a long way in alleviating this issue. Since I didn't meet the host, I can't comment on their hospitality. However, their email instructions were incorrect, so I recommend relying on Google Maps to get to the address and explore the site upon arrival.
Nature lovers and bird enthusiasts will be in heaven with an abundance of laughing kookaburras ( like tonnes of em) and owls (though the latter might keep light sleepers awake, I was up most of the night listening out for human like yells). Our campsite had a flat ground, no water pooling, and a serene atmosphere perfect for fireside relaxation. Be cautious of the slippery pathway though so you don’t bruise your behind, and note that the site is small but just enough for a small family.
While there aren't many activities, the tranquility and natural beauty make up for it. If you're seeking a peaceful retreat amidst nature, this is an ideal destination. If you’re wanting to kick a ball around, this ain’t the place for you.
I have to emphasise, the nature is loud at night. Like “shut the hell up, please it’s 3am” kind of loud!

A beautiful setting, felt so enveloped by all the tall majestic gum trees.
The ground is gravel and quite hard so if you’re tent camping you need to bring a peg hammer and a thicker sleeping mat.
