Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our beautiful property is located on 70 acres and has 1000m of river front on the Loddon River 3km down Newbridge Maldon Road from Bridgewater. There is an IGA supermarket nearby in Inglewood, which is 11km away, and the Bridgewater pub and bakery are located 3km away. Both world-renowned feeds. The place consists of privacy, use of kayaks and safety gear, fishing rods, boat ramp, and a lovely getaway for a couple or family. We've also recently added a basketball court, beach volleyball, mini football oval and soccer goals. Lots to do! Come here to enjoy the peace, and six meters of clean clear water at your camp door if you please. Fire pits are provided and we offer firewood for sale if needed, outside of fire-ban season - No firewood is to be taken from the property unless paid for. This is a unique camp experience. All we ask is you leave the place as you found it. The stars in the night sky are second to none, we hope you enjoy your stay as much as we do. IMPORTANT: We do not offer toilet facilities, so all campers MUST be self-contained, and take all waste with them. In order to protect the fragile river system, strictly no dumping of waste or greywater on the property. Waterski boats are strictly prohibited. We require at least 12 hours notice before your stay, but if you do need a last-minute spot, please feel free to send us an enquiry and we may be able to accommodate you. Whilst pets are welcome, please inform us prior to booking if you are planning to bring pets along. We kindly ask that you keep them at your site as do not want to upset other guests with barking dogs, and wish to protect our wildlife.Multiple large, private sites are available along the edge of the river. Free to pick your own spot to set up camp, have a swim or relax on an air bed all day in the water. Tin boats are welcome, please no jet skis or wake setters. Come here to enjoy the peace! The starlit night sky’s out here on the Loddon river are truly spectacular. Firewood available $80a basket on wheels or 260per m3 . T~shirts $35 Hoodies $65 stubbie holders $5. And fresh farm eggs $5 dozen .photos on site of merchandise. Look fwd to seeing you all sooner than later . Check out Rancho Relaxo , as we call it .👌👍💯😎 There is enough space at the sites to fit approximately 4 caravans in each group comfortably. IMPORTANT: We do not offer toilet facilities, so all campers MUST be self-contained and take all waste with them when they leave. Pets are welcome, but please keep them on under control at your campsite, and not allow them to wander. Please also inform us in advance if you are bringing your pets. Fire pits can be provided, and firewood is available to purchase.

Great spot on the river. Beautiful sunset. It is marketed to be private sites but they are not very private at all. There were multiple people as it was a long weekend and all sites are in a row. Not as close as a caravan park but it’s definitely not private.

A Perfect Getaway
I recently visited Loddon River Park for a two-night camping trip, and it was an incredible experience! The camping spaces are very generous, giving us plenty of room to set up comfortably, and being right next to the river added a serene, scenic touch to our stay. We loved every moment there. One thing I would recommend for anyone planning a visit is to bring along a boat or kayak. With the river right there, it’s the perfect opportunity to explore the water and enjoy some peaceful kayaking. We didn’t have one with us and felt like we missed out on a unique way to experience the river up close. Overall, it was a fantastic spot for camping, relaxing, and unwinding in nature. We’re already looking forward to our next trip!

Good location, we got a spot right on the water. Nice to have a drop toilet if needed. Quiet and enjoyable. Mark was friendly and delivered firewood to us.
