Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
The property features 150 acres of open flat grass with trees peppered around boundaries, and peaceful views of the mountains close by. We are located close to the township of Little River, made famous for movies that were produced here including Mad Max and The Dress Maker. We offer several campsites suited to self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. Not too far from here you will find the You Yangs, which are the geological signature to Melbourne's western horizon. This low-lying mound of hills is a truly ancient upwelling of granite, having formed more than 350 million years ago. There are some great places here to explore, with options for mountain bike trails, horse-riding trails, orienteering areas, picnic grounds and even a nearby paint ball place! Your dog is welcome. Campfires permitted (when not in fireban season). Primitive camping
Lovely place and very peaceful. Just under an hour's drive from the northern suburbs. It's primitive camping. You'll encounter a few roos and sheep in the mornings. My 7 year old boy and I loved it.

Beautiful view
Great location. Beautiful view. A bit of a rough road to get in for 1 km. Only suitable if you have a motorhome or RV with everything. Unfortunately some previous campers left rubbish in the site

Dog friendly and relaxing
As a travelling couple with 2 Shepherd dogs, it was a winner to be allowed to have them run free. Far more relaxing. It's not fancy, no mici-msnsgers here (in fact we never saw sny host) but ideslling situated for us to visit Werribee & Feelong family. A number in the gate and a few signs would be helpful. My dogs were curious about the sheep and roos especially in the morning.

Beautiful camp w views ofyou yangs
Loved this camp spot. Beautiful views of the you yangs and sunset. We like that it was spread out so neighbour campers was not close to you. parvez was great with responding and flexibility. 15 mins to main supermarkets in Lara town. Loved that it wasn’t too far from cbd. We will be back.
