Lavender Hills is located in a spectacular part of Australia, only minutes from the surf beaches of Torquay and Bells Beach, just off The Great Ocean Road. We are a working farm, producing cereal, hay, and potatoes. We have resident kangaroos, a family of hares, and plentiful bird life including the Black Sulphur Crested Cockatoo. Our simple camp sites and glamping tents are located on the old Polo Field, adjacent to the Tram Car Club House, on level and mown green lawns, with access to toilets. We have a large communal camp fire, which is a great space to meet fellow travellers. The glamping tents also have their own fire pits, plus our luxury tent has it's own cedar hot tub! Our Tram Car Club House is always open and you are welcome to picnic there, and BYO your favourite beverages. Well behaved pets are welcome. Please note, we do not allow parties or rowdy groups here. Tranquility is the key!

FAKE ADVERTISING
Very Disappointing ! We booked for 3 nights of LUXURY GLAMPING . The pictures advertised looked amazing . Unfortunately it was nothing like the photos nor the description . Far from LUXURY GLAMPING more like a tent with a bed ! NO cedar wood hot tub .. a crappy old makeshift small spa tub with disgusting water filled with sediment and spiders and couldn’t use as not enough water nor firewood and no cover so when it rains it puts the fire out so no so called hot tub Sopping wet mattress for guests .. they didn’t stay I don’t blame them No complimentary bag of firewood No shower as advertised A toilet that when you flushed it came out on the floor So called fire pit was falling apart literally . Come on be HONEST . It’s not Luxury Glamping . Have many REAL photos to share to compare what you advertised . TOTALLY RIPPED OFF We left asap early next morning asked for a refund for the remaining 2nights and still trying to get that back even when they finally agreed to a refund . Hipcamp need to take responsibility for allowing false advertising of experiences offered !!! REFUND PLEASE Sorry but wouldn’t recommend

Lavender Hills Luxury Glamping Tent
We were unlucky with the weather over Easter, but this is a nice spot with a lovely bell tent, warm & comfortable bed (for 2) and plenty of campfire wood cheerfully supplied by Tim. Be aware you need to bring everything you need apart from the tent & bed including chairs, table, cooking gear and water. The toilet is a long walk! We’d go back in better weather and when the tram and hot tubs are operating. Nice to be in such a private, peaceful spot. And thanks for the Easter eggs!

Happy campers
We stayed in one of the Glamping sites, we loved the hot tub and the tent was very comfortable. The view from the site is lovely and Tim the manager was nice to deal with. It will be a lot better once there are available places to walk to on the property.

I thoroughly enjoyed the magnificent tram cafe with the French crepes, morning coffee and selection of fine wines. Sitting around the open fire chatting and relaxing with a fine wine in my hand was fun and luxurious. I will definitely be back.

Lavender Hills Luxury Glamping Tent
Nice hot bath but no drinking water
Overall we had a great time. The horses on the site were super friendly and our toddler had a great time getting up close with them. Having access to a private wood-fired cedar hot tub was a very nice novelty 👍 Although it was listed as "Potable water available" we would suggest coming prepared with drinking water as what's available at the site were filtered rainwater and has a slight brown tint.
