Hello campers! We live on a 4 acre bush block in Woodend. You will enjoy glimpses of Mount Macedon through the gum trees, experience native wildlife and tranquil surrounds. Our camp area has a nice flat area for a tent, caravan or campervan. We have access to rainwater and power if needed. There are many hiking areas around us. We are not far from Wombat State Forrest as well as only 4 km from Woodend Village.

      Gorgeous spot! Kim was super helpful in directing us after a long drive. Access to a hot shower and toilet was a glamping treat appreciated by all. The beautiful location was private and quiet while still super convenient to Woodend township, Hanging Rock and Mt Macedon sights. Thanks Kath, Kim and Bingo!!

      Kath and Kim were great hosts and tried to help us out as much as they could. Unfortunately our 21ft caravan was not able to be manoeuvred to the intended site and we had to cut the weekend short and only stayed one night in their driveway. The site is more suited for smaller caravans. Kath and Kim were very hospitable people. Was a shame it didn’t work out.

      Peaceful & easy
      Kath & Kim are gracious hosts. Accessing the spot was easy with 2wd and a small caravan. The camping location is private and well shaded. It was truly such a peaceful stay. It was a bonus to have access to power and water and be able to bring our pup along with us. We would highly recommend this listing and will hope to return again soon!

      Perfect weekend getaway
      Kath and Kim are exemplary hosts. Their place is idyllic amongst the trees with abundant bird and wildlife around… yes, I’m looking at you, duck family of 5☺️ this is more of a glamping experience with the use of a bathroom ( how nice is it to freshen up at the end of day) and a fridge! Stay and decompress with the sound of the wind in the trees or drive a short distance to one of the great walks in the area ( Hanging Rock a 10 minute drive away) I would highly recommend this new HipCamp addition to anyone. I’m definitely coming back!
