Situated 5 minutes from large town on a quiet dead end road. Green pastures set under lovely red gums shaded along a creek. All you can hear is cows and birds. Watch the cows and calves grazing next door. Walk down the quiet country lane. Pitch your tent or pull up your RV and relax by the water or under the lovely majestic trees. You can sit and listen to the birds or go for a walk along the winding country lane. No traffic to break the serenity. You can sit and listen to the birds or go for a walk along the winding country lane. You can take a short drive to the nearby rail trail and walk/cycle for miles. No cars, just nature. Close to a major town for supplies or just stay put and watch the cows over the fence. We have 4 sites on the property.

Jackie and her property are amazing. We spent 4 nights in this peaceful and quiet spot. The instructions to the site were clear, the site itself was flat with a fire pit. Property is only 5 minutes to Wangaratta and we did day trips to Milawa, Benalla, Bright, Beechworth and Yackandandah. For animal lovers there are heaps of birds, cows, sheep, a horse and gorgeous little donkey. It was a real treat to fall asleep to the call of a Boobook Owl. We didn’t want to leave.

Peaceful serenity
Itara farm is everything you want from a hip camp. Seclusion, nature and some beautiful peace and quiet all while being close to a major town for supplies and convenience. The cockatoos put on a performance worth paying for at sunset. Jacqueline is an amazing host and her doggos are a welcomed treat. Photos can’t do this amazing property justice. Book it. You won’t be disappointed.

Was a beautiful quite place but only a stone throw from town. Jackie was a fantastic host who supplied us not only with local knowledge of things to do but a fire pit and some fire wood for our stay. 2 friendly dogs as well as an assortment of other friendly farm animals. Highly recommend a stay at Itara!!

Exceptional hospitality
Our camp experience was not at all what we'd planned due to storms with torrential rain passing through as we were attempting to set up camp. Would have been fabulous though. Jacqueline's paddock is a beautiful secluded spot. Tree-lined for shade but enough open space to set up camp in the open to avoid any dropping branches. Port-a-loo conveniently located, & a creek running through. Jacqueline was an exceptional host, going above & beyond to save us from drowning in the deluge.
