$54/night for 2 people. Remote farm at the end of a road, no neighbours, and spectacular views of the Grampians (Gariwerd) that is most stunning in the morning as the sun hits Mt William. One camp site (one group only). The site accepts 8 people but if you are just two people you will have the place to yourselves except for the kangaroos, wallabies, emus, echidnas and birdlife. The campsite is situated next to our family's holiday farmhouse that we visit sometimes, but only when there are no guest campers. There is a fire pit with grill plates available to cook over the fire (note open fires cannot occur when fire restrictions are in place). Campers have access to the flush toilet, hot shower and kitchen in the house. The house is a work in progress. We are slowly renovating the house, so it is a bit rough but it is clean and functional and you will have the place to yourselves. Please respect the locked private areas of the house. Campers are expected to bring their own cooking pots, plates, cutlery, camp chairs, etc. Only 4 km from Moyston where you can get great coffee and visit the historic Mine Walk. Halls Gap is 35km away or head through the mountains over Redmans Road that takes you the scenic route to Halls Gap (2WD accessible in dry weather). Kalymna Falls and picnic ground is a beautiful 15 min bush drive from the farm. If you like homemade jams, chutneys, ice cream and fudge, drop in and see Anita and Andy at Five Ducks Farm near Pomonal (https://fiveducksfarm.com.au/)From $50/night for 2 people. Space was great, as were the views! Jason was awesome to communicate with and having access to the house made for a very easy stay with the dog too. Would definitely return!

Gariwerd Farm Camp
Great views and lots of nice grass to pitch a tent. Very quiet and private, hardly saw any cars on road in the 3 nights we were there. House is in process of being renovated but still felt clean and cared for.

Five stars!
Jason’s place is a piece of paradise. Broad skies, majestic mountain views, and a well set up site to set down quickly and appreciate it all. Loved having the warm inside fire as a place to relax around when the wind was strong. The famous walks are around 1 hour away via scenic country drives. Ararat is only 30 min away for forgotten provisions. Recommend popping in to have a lovely chat with the volunteer ladies at Gum San. If you have a well behaved pooch they’ll give him a treat and maybe let him look at the exhibits. Jason is a great host and easy to get in touch with. Five stars!! Great place for adventures with a bunch of teens. Bring your telescope 🔭

Flawless stay in Moyston
Fabulous land owned by Jason! He was super easy to contact and made our stay so smooth. Even gave us a hand when our caravans battery died. Nicely isolated and heaps of wildlife around making the place feel truly like the bush with the luxury of a hot shower!
