Come and Enjoy country life for one night or more with beautiful views of Macleod Morass Wetlands. Lots of animals to enjoy, including cows, sheep, chickens and kangaroos. Lots of bird life. 7 Sites available for tents, caravans and camper trailers on a flat grassy area with great views. Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must remove all rubbish. FIRES MUST BE IN FIRE PITS ONLY. Fire pits and firewood available on request at extra Cost Please advise prior to arrival if required. Farm Fresh Chicken Eggs available. Must abide by the currant fire restrictions. Can provide a IBC water tank to your site with Tap outlet to connect to your van. Pets welcome, dogs must be kept on a lead. Only 5 minutes from town Centre, 15 min to Paynesville and 30 min to Lakes Entrance. Lakes Entrance is located on the edge of Ninety Mile Beach where the Gippsland Lakes meets the Southern Ocean.

Great place to spend a night or two if you’re using Bairnsdale as a travel point. Nigel and Meika were very accommodating and we had the place mostly to ourselves. Moonrises were spectacular. Bit of wind and traffic noise, very close to amenities.

Great spot. Close to town, but far enough away to be peaceful and quiet. Camp sites a huge, great views.

Clear communication, friendly welcome. Large site, clearly numbered spots. Quite a distance between the spots. Nice views, we have seen many kangaroo on arrival

Serene camping
It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay at Forge Creek. We had a lovely time being surrounded by the cows and the rolling hills.
