Idealic private little getaway
This camp site exceeded all our expectations! The lake view was breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop that made our stay truly relaxing. The privacy was a huge plus and main reason we decided to book this site; we had no interactions with anyone else besides the lovely host at check in on the first day which allowed for a peaceful getaway.
The camp site was massive, could definitely fit several tents. It was perfect for my dogs to roam freely and explore. We appreciated the occasional visits from cows, which added a charming rural touch to the experience. The facilities were impressive for a camping site, featuring a small cabin equipped with a hot shower, toilet, kitchen sink, and solar electricity. It made for a comfortable stay while still enjoying the great outdoors.
The scenic pier was the cherry on top, offering a perfect spot to soak in the views. Overall, this camping site is a hidden gem for anyone looking for a private and secluded escape into nature while still enjoying some modern conveniences. Highly recommended!

Amazing place to stay
We loved our stay at Faraway Lodge, a beautifully secluded, fully fenced space right on the bank of Lake Keilambete. We were lucky enough to have clear nights and the stars were just amazing. We also loved the amenities shack. Nothing beats a proper toilet and it was probably one of the best camp showers I've ever had. Honestly couldn't recommend Faraway Lodge any higher. Thanks Bruce, you've done well and were a breeze to deal with.

Faraway Lodge
Amazing spot. Very relaxing. You could spend all day gazing across the lake while the family and dogs play. Therapeutic salt water, Hot shower, plenty of wood for the firepit - you just need to bring your camping gear and kick back and enjoy. The area is nice to explore as well. Can recommend a walk around th terang lake. Bruce was very friendly and helpful as his pup Mr Wolf was friendly as well.

We loved the stay. Secluded, water front , farm animals, bathing, campfire etc etc. It has almost all necessary facilities.

Faraway Lodge
Absolutely one of the best camping experiences for our family and friends! The stunning views and proximity to the lake made it truly special. The amenities were excellent, featuring flushing toilet, hot shower, and even refrigerators. We enjoyed complete privacy, as our group was the only guests in the campground. The hosts were also welcoming and helpful. What else would you expect? I can't recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a perfect camping getaway!
