640 acres of wilderness on the Great Alpine Road, views up the Tambo Valley to the high country, Tambo River frontage. Easy access from the Great Alpine Road, however the 2km driveway is steep in places and a high clearance off-road vehicle is recommended. Private camp site in the bush, unlimited firewood for campfires, walking tracks to explore, pet friendly. Although there is no running water at the campsite, you are welcome to fill up water containers from our rainwater tank, 400m from the campsite.Complete privacy in the bush on a ridgeline track with views all around. Plentiful firewood for your own campfire. Enjoy the peace, quiet and birdsong, and tune in with nature. The site is 180m above the valley floor and access in places is steep, so off road vehicles are required. The campsite has a turning circle and can accommodate 4WD trailers and off-road caravans, but only if you're very confident driving in that terrain. Plenty of walking tracks, and access to state forest tracks for 4WD-ing. Relax by the river (2.5km down the driveway), cool off in the rapids on a hot day.

Ridgeline Campsite
A terrific site, perched way up on a ridgeline as the name suggests. Flat, plenty of turn around room, super quiet, and a great fireplace and wood supply. Simply superb.

Hidden Paradise
We loved camping at Ridgeline. Jamie and Tracey have a wonderful property. The campsite is on a beautiful ridge line (hence name) and we were spoilt for views. The site feels very private with a clearing surrounded by bush. Great site to pitch a tent with fire pit and plenty of wood. Jamie and Tracey were wonderful hosts and provided clear directions and instructions. We were able to fill up our water from their rain tanks and they gave us plenty of information about places to visit in the local area. This has to be our favourite Hipcamp so far. Thanks Jamie for your amazing hospitality
