Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Do you love bush camping? Ridgetop camping looking out over the Yarra Valley and Kinglake National Park. Access to the Kinglake National Park and 10 minutes to the Toolangi State Forest. Guests will have plenty of space and privacy at their sites. **4X4 RECOMMENDED FOR ACCESS** Access video on Youtube - search Eagle Ridge Camping access **CHEMICAL OR OTHER TOILETS REQUIRED, NO WASTE TO BE BURIED** All guests must be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided, please keep them under control at all times and respect any fire restrictions in place during your stay. Wineries nearby. 50 minutes to Melbourne, Tullamarine airport. Short term van storage available. Well behaved leashed pets are welcome. Perfect mobile phone service if you need to be connected. Driveway is steep in to camping area, 4x4 recommended when towing caravans. Weekend escape
Loved our stay here! Beautiful veiws, nice place to wonder and walk with the dogs. Loved our visit from the sheep, the sounds of the frogs near the dam, Kookaburra's laugh and so much more. The town of Yarra Glen just a short drive and an abundance of wineries, cheese and more Access was easy. I towed my camper no worries and friends got to the top easy in her front wheeled 2WD Andrew was a great host. Thanks and I'll most definitely be back

Great stay at Eagle Ridge
We had a great stay at Eagle Ridge, the site we had was huge and very private. The fire pit was great and there was plenty of wood to light firers for the two nights we were there. You feel like you’re in a rural location but you’re really close to Healesville and so many great attractions close by. Highly recommend to fellow Hip Campers!

Heaven sent!!!
A beautiful location with stunning views. With the sheep grazing nearby and deer wandering around us, this location is perfect to appreciate the Yarra Valley area. With ample firewood to keep cozy at night and the serenity of the location, it really is a perfect spot. We will be back.

Absolutely incredible.
Absolutely stunning place to watch the sun rise or set. Beautiful views, tranquil and isolated. You should definitely stay here.

Stay Here! You will love it.
This is close to paradise. Looking out over the valleys on either side draped in cloud while the sun shined down on us was awesome! We had a great long weekend here. The directions were good and we found a flat spot at the top of the hill. The fire place was clearly marked and Andrew told us where to find some wood. If you have the right gear don’t stay in a caravan park, stay here!

Amazing views and helpful host. Would definitely visit again. It was really peaceful and quiet to get away into nature.
