Devon Park is a superb property dedicated to nature and conservation. The livestock have gone to greener pastures and now nature rules! Devon Park is being opened to our nature loving conservation friends who enjoy the serenity that nature can provide. Kangaroos abound, look out for the echidnas and wombats! My resident mob of native emus come and go freely! Parrots, wrens and finches call Devon Park home! Hopefully you will be lucky and see the magestic Wedge Tailed eagles soaring the thermals over head! Sit patiently beside one of the many dams to see if you can spot an Eastern Long Neck Turtle who live and breed in the dams! On a clear night, relax and star gaze and you will quite possibly see one or more shooting stars and a satellite pass over head. But all the time marveling at the beauty of the milky way! Strictly, no hunting permitted as Devon Park is devoted to conservation of our unique flora and fauna! Strictly, no hunting is permitted! Devon Park is devoted to conservation of our precious native flora and fauna!A beautiful setting where one can choose to camp to the south of Shearing Shed Dam or to the north of Shearing Shed Dam. A beautiful setting where the kangaroos often come out to graze in the early morning. Next to the shearing shed and the rain water tank for fresh water. Quiet and peaceful setting but close to the owner's cottage (about 300 metres) where campers can use the flushing toilet with hot water trough located in the outside washing shed adjacent to owner's cottage. Pop over for a chat and a cuppa with the owner. Great for those who like to camp but still like some mod cons!

Awesome private camp lots of space
Had an awesome long weekend at Devon Park. Camped at the shearing shed site, right beside the dam. The property is absolutely huge and we had the place to ourselves, but if there were other campers you could go the weekend without seeing them. The flushable toilet is very handy. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere super private with a LOT of land to explore. Thanks very much Bruce.

Unmatched Privacy and Incredible
I had the pleasure of being the very first Hipcamper at Bruce's incredible property, and it exceeded all my expectations. Bruce was awesome—super informative, detailed, and helpful when it came to directions and the local wildlife. Having over 1000 hectares of private parkland entirely to myself was an unforgettable experience, and I can't say that about any other listing on Hipcamp! The privacy and serenity here are unmatched. Overall, it's an A+ experience, and I can't wait to come back for more!
