Poor experience
Black Camp Fang failed to meet expectations during our two-night stay, marred by inadequate amenities, poor site visibility. Navigating to the site proved challenging due to the absence of clear signage, while the absence of basic facilities like portable toilets and bin bags detracted from the overall experience. Furthermore, uneven terrain and difficulty finding staff heightened safety concerns. Addressing these shortcomings is essential to improving Black Camp Fang's reputation and ensuring a more enjoyable experience for future guests.

At the campsite, the toilet facilities were unavailable, and there was a lack of water supply, posing inconveniences to the campers. compounding the situation, campers had to trek a considerable distance to access the toilet facilities, situated adjacent to a distant house far removed from the campsite.

Great location, close to everything. Went fully self sufficient and no issues.

Thanks Sam for having us on your land. Great location very close to Grampians and Lake Fyans. Plenty of space to spread out on flat ground. The grounds were spotless.
We enjoyed setting up our fire in the fire pit next to a dry creek and were awoken to bird song in the morning.
Access to campsite was difficult to locate and has no signpost. Recommend the owner add a sign on the fence as the area has spotty reception to contact host.
The advertised toilet and potable water is only available at the owners house which can either be accessed by climbing a few fences or driving back onto the main road and up to the owners house a few hundred metres away. We recommend visitors be self sufficient and bring their own water containers.

We pulled up in the dark and it was very difficult to see the drive / access / site condition or access to any amenities as described.
We contacted the host 3 times over the weekend, that night, the following day and the day after with no response. We stayed elsewhere the whole weekend.
For $65 a night, I expect a lot more than a completely bare bush paddock with no trees, no visible toilet / water and no response from the host etc.
