Leave the noise of the city behind and travel to Noojee, a town named after the Aboriginal word for contentment or place to rest. Surrounded by lush native bush and towering tree ferns, this picturesque town on the Latrobe River sits on the main access route to the ski fields of Mt Baw Baw and is home to a wide range of heritage and natural attractions. The property consists of 5 acres with a river, so you can set up a tent right next to the river and fish for dinner. The house is about 100 meters away from the camping area, but there are about 1000 Oregon trees that are 50 years old, so you can't see each other well, so you can enjoy nature freely. 4WD is recommended for easy access. We recommend tents/swags. 4WD with Heavy trailer is still very hard to enter when it is wet. Guests will have access to a toilet throughout their stay. There is a communal fire pit available, so guests can enjoy a campfire on the cool evenings. Please abide by any local fire restrictions during your stay. You can walk from my house to Noojee Heritage Centre, Trestle Bridge, Alpine Trout Farm, and Noojee Hotel for a delicious pizza, Cool beer from tool sheed and coffee from red duck cafe. Noojee Riverside Camp
One of the best campsite
I recently stayed at a beautiful campsite in Noojee, VIC, and it was an incredible experience! The location is stunning, with lush greenery all around and easy access to the river, which added a peaceful ambiance. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers looking to relax and unwind. The host was absolutely amazing—warm, welcoming, and truly hospitable. They even treated us to delicious kimchi pancakes, which was such a thoughtful and unique touch. It made our stay feel extra special. Another highlight was the friendly dogs on-site—they added so much charm and made the experience feel even more homely. Do be cautious of overhanging branches when setting up camp, but other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this campsite for anyone looking for a tranquil getaway. Noojee Riverside Camp
Loved it!
Kim was a great host! Thoughful and accomodating. Lovely spot, even though we had a little rain it was still a super relaxing weekend away. Camping options are on the other side of her property, separated by a deep, wooded row of trees. In the wet, a 4x4 or capable AWD is a must. You'll encounter deep mud, steep slopes, tree roots and ruts to get down to the camping spots. Proximity to the river added to the quaint and tranquil spot. We're dog lovers so enjoyed her dogs coming to visit on the days we were there and they played so nicely with our pup, playing fetch and tug-o-war, they obviously love the interaction with all the new people....but something to be aware of if you are not. If you have not brought everything you need there are some shops between 15-25 minutes away from which to stock-up. We will be back again!

Noojee Riverside Camp
Great spot right on the river. I was sitting by the fire, contemplating a two-minute noodle dinner, when the owner turned up with a plate of Korean savoury pancakes! Nice touch, I think all guests were given some. Went down a treat!

Perfect cup weekend getaway, spots are flat and private. Beautiful sounds of the flowing river to fall asleep to. Thank you for your hospitality and the fresh duck eggs.

Kim is very nice, so as her dogs. The place is very natural with beautiful river sounds. Sky is beautiful with stars... only downside during our stay is the neighboring camper...thank you for your pancake and duck eggs. My kids love the companion of your hangoo!

AMAZING 🤩
Absolutely loved it!!!! Such a great spot ❤️ River was great for a cool off, even though it was a little chilly, and I was joined by Hancock the border collie - the coolest dog. And Seong made me her signature Korean pancake too, so nice. An all round great spot. I'm definitely coming back ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
