Taking in the full northerly delights at the foothills of Strathbogie ranges, this base camp offers a wonderful all-round basic camping experience. Amazing Rising
As this was our first Hipcamp, we weren't sure what to expect. The location was lovely but wasn't as secluded as what the photos made it out to be. The price was also a little steep so I probably wouldn't stay again.

Alex was a great host, showed us our site options then let us be . His property is well mapped out with different spots to choose from. He had fire pits with hot plates, plenty of wood and even gave us some of free range eggs. Nice and quiet spot with some farm animals close by, would recommend!

Camping under the stars
My partner and I had a great stay in the secluded area surrounded by trees. There were lots of other places to choose from that were nice and open but we liked the more hidden spot. The views of sunset were stunning and the stars at night were absolutely amazing! Alex was really welcoming and extremely kind bringing us fresh free range eggs and wood fire. We were lucky enough to meet Alex’s 2 dogs too - both really friendly and enjoyed a pat. This was a great stay and I would recommend for everyone - couples, families and groups.

Lovely place to camp. We had the whole area to ourselves, which was really nice and private. The hosts were very helpful during our stay and allowed us privacy unless we requested anything. Multiple places to camp on this site. We felt very safe camping here. The stars were amazing and the fire pit provided was awesome. Highly recommend staying here.
