The property is a working cattle grazing farm with large grassy sites available. There is plenty of wildlife watching available so be sure to keep an eye out for koalas, echidnas, wedge tail eagles, owls, wallabies and wombats. There is also plenty of bushwalking available in the nearby flora and fauna reserve. We are also close to rail trail which is popular for bike riding and walking. Relax under the shady gums and enjoy the sounds of natures, pan for gold in the creek or prospect around old Gobur town. Yarck country market is on the 3rd Saturday of every month. General store and giddy goat cafe in Yarck. Bucks bakery in Yarck serve superb pies and sweet treats. Yarck pub nearby has great meals, pet friendly beergarden, ice and takeaways Yarck produce store is open 7 days, stocking steaks, sausages, salami, vegetables, bread and milk. Campfires are permitted only in a metal fire pit, supplied when firewood bundle is purchased or bring your own but any council restrictions must be observed by campers. Bucket of water must be on hand and adult supervision required at all times whenever a fire is lit. Water from creek for washing is on tap and rainwater for drinking is available for campers. Pets are allowed but must be on a leash and kept under the owners control at all times. Campers are welcome to set up on the grassy camp area or if they prefer privacy may set up away from others. Godfreys Creek
We had a great time camping here. David was a really friendly host, he came round each day to check on us, usually with his awesome dogs. Highlights were: - The camp site was large and very clean. - Access to drinkable rainwater. - Toilets were luxurious, clean and odour free. - Plenty of free firewood to collect. - Fire pits.

Another great stay
Second visit to Godfrey’s Creek and just like the first we loved our time there. The kids love the open space to explore and play, the views particularly at sunset are amazing and the host David is always accomodating and so great to deal with. This will be a regular spot for my family to disconnect from city life and recharge.

We couldn’t have been happier, David was a fantastic host and couldn’t have been more accommodating. Nice grassy flat area with plenty of room and very clean portaloos. Would definitely recommend.

Great spot for families
Family with three young kids had an awesome time. From playing in the creek to panning for gold, and heaps of open space for sports. Sites were tucked away for shelter from wind and sun, but still open for views out to the mountains. Toilets were spotless and creek and rain water were great for cleaning & boiling. David was an awesome host, friendly and thoughtful, i dont know how he runs the farm and still keeps all the campers happy. 5 stars all the way!
