Quiet sanctuary amongst the trees. Birds a-plenty and other wildlife. A dam adds beauty and a haven for the native ducks. Plenty of quiet spaces on the property. There is water available. Couples or families only. 1.5 kms from the railway station and V line service to Melbourne CBD (1 hour). 2 kms from Woodend township. 2 sites are available for vans or tents, 1 site with power and one without. Max of 4 people, 2 adults, 2 children, per site. A small caravan is available with a double mattress for 2 adults max. Locally there are plenty of walking racks, wineries, and villages to explore. No dumping of toilet refuse.

Woodend camping
Very nice place to stay with a beautiful small flower garden, sharon is very good and helpful host. It was our first time camping and we enjoyed a lot with our kids.

Sharon’s place was a great base to explore the area. It was peaceful & relaxing to hang out around the fire by the dam in the evening.

Space between the trees.
This was a great quick from getaway from Melbourne for us. The land is close to the conveniences of town and there is a flushing toilet on site. Sharon was very friendly and helpful, and the property has a couple of sheep beside the main house, as well as chickens, and birds etc to watch by the dam. A really easy camping trip with young kids. Thanks for a great stay!
