Camp Clementine- 1975 VW Bus
Hippy camping adventure
We really enjoyed staying here. Our hosts were great. We had a tour and then they respected our privacy. It was great being able to bring our border collie who enjoyed running around and swimming in the pond. The “hippy van” was clean and very comfortable to sleep in. Enjoyed relaxing in the Adirondack chairs and taking in the beautiful view of the expansive meadows and mountains. Very private!!! The bonus is that there is a bathroom and shower!!! We did paddle boarding at a near by lake and and enjoyed pizza and IPA’s at the local general store. Sat outside and could bring the dog. People are very friendly in the area. Very relaxing trip.

Like living in a Hallmark movie!
We absolutely loved Camp Clementine and will be booking again in the future. The views were like something out of a Hallmark movie. The host had thoughtful touches like a vase of fresh flowers and a cute sign pointing to the pond. It was very clean and it felt very private. They let the meadow grow so it’s filled with lovely flowers and birds. There are mown paths to the bathroom and pond. The pond even has a small bridge and a bench to enjoy the views. We loved the bus! We also loved reading the journal that other campers left entries in. There was a picnic table, adirondack chairs, and a charcoal grill. We had everything we needed and our hostess was very friendly and caring.

Camp Clementine- 1975 VW Bus
We stayed two nights at the camper, we also put a tent next to it for one person and our large size dog. The location of the camper is simply beautiful. Magical views in early morning, and amazing night sky that many of us cannot remember the last time we saw that many stars in the sky. Having access to a real bathroom is a huge advantage. Our biggest concern in traveling was Covid-19, and Ashley (whom we interacted with) was wearing a mask in all interactions. The camper included a sanitizer in it as well.

Star Paradise
A beautiful spot to spend a couple days unwinding. The stars were like nothing we had ever seen before. The bus itself was clean, and provided the perfect glamping experience. (although it does get pretty chill some nights so be sure to bring extra linens). The private bathroom was a short walk away and was much appreciated for these city girls! Ashley and Mike were very helpful with advice on local spots to check out. (Lake Willoughby is a must see)
Glover itself was very charming. We would recommend checking out the small farmer's market if you're there on a Sunday, where they have live music too. Just down the road from the market there is a spot to purchase firewood from a pleasant local named Jim.
Thanks Ashely and Mike - we wish we could have stayed longer!

Stunning location, Cool Van
This is a spectacular location and Mike & Ashley were wonderful hosts! A nice blend of camping and clamping, catching the Vermont sunrise from the inside of an old VW is tough to beat.

Camping with dogs
Had a wonderful time at Camp Clementine in Vermont celebrating my wife's 40th birthday. The bus was very clean and there were lots of nice touches all over - from the fresh daisies in the bus to the matches they had for us to help start the fire. The bathroom was a short walk away and the pond was so cool and refreshing - our dogs had a blast.
Getting to the site was easy, but you do have to back out and it is a bit long of a drive to be driving in reverse. Even with our camera, it was a little challenging. The site is located behind their house and it was a little closer in proximity than expected. This wasn't a detail that was made very clear in other reviews or the description/pictures of the camp so we just wanted to mention this since it took us by surprise.
All in all, we would recommend Camp Clementine. The hosts were very nice, it was a beautiful place, and we made lots of happy memories there and you will too. Enjoy the stars at night!
