Welcome to our picturesque HipCamp nestled on a 6-acre property, adorned with an impressive expanse of three acres of stunning Maple trees. Adding to the allure, our campsite is graced by a beautifully preserved 200-year-old home that serves as an inviting inn. Campers are welcome to come by in the morning for some fresh hot coffee. Conveniently located just seven miles from Middlebury, our campsite strikes the perfect balance between enjoying the vibrant activities of the bustling college town and immersing oneself in the serene ambiance of Robert Frost country. This area holds a special place in the renowned poet's heart, as he spent 39 summers residing near the Breadloaf Campus. Nature enthusiasts will delight in our campsite's proximity to the trail system of the Green Mountain National Forest, offering a wealth of opportunities for biking, hiking, skiing, and snowshoeing. The Rikert Ski Touring Center and Middlebury College Snow Bowl are also conveniently situated nearby, ensuring easy access to exceptional winter sports facilities. The only showers and full baths available are within the inn's guest rooms. If a room is not occupied, we can offer you the use of its bathroom for a flat fee of $50, regardless of the number of days you use it. This fee covers the cost of our housekeeping team giving it a thorough cleaning before the next guest's arrival. If you require an indoor bathroom, please call or message us before booking so we can check if it’s possible to reserve it for you in advance. Fires are only allowed when we have a full blanket of snow on the ground.Campsite by the Inn is a serene spot on a 6-acre property featuring 3 acres of picturesque maple trees. Great little spot to camp for the night in an adorable village with a lot of history and very cool 100-year old general store across the street. Drove up to the Robert Frost trail which was amazing. Appreciated having an electrical hookup too.

It’s a lovely spot, easy to find and perfectly flat for any RV / Camper. Elizabeth is a gracious host that went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The breakfast and cozy atmosphere in the morning was so very lovely. Even our toddler thought it was the best morning EVER. The well-preserved historic inn is quite charming. We had a truly wonderful time and expect we will make this a go-to spot when we visit this part of Vermont.

Lovely visit! :)
Elizabeth's RV spot, next to her historic B&B, was perfect: great location to attend a nearby writing conference, right across the street from the country store, great walking, hiking, and cycling nearby, an easy stroll to the river. Elizabeth and her family were so accommodating and friendly, yet allowed us all the privacy we wanted. We even had the option to join other guests for breakfast with a minimal fee. We had several nearby options to dump our tanks. A lovely stay! Will definitely stay here again.

Elizabeth runs a beautiful historic inn on this property as well as having two sites. We stayed for 3 days and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. Elizabeth was super accommodating and answered all of her questions about things to do locally as well as what's going on in the area. I absolutely would recommend staying here to anyone.
