Come relax and enjoy an off-grid experience in Tunbridge Vermont. Our cabin offers the perfect space to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life. While Camp Russell is entirely off-grid (without electricity), you will be a quick 10-minute drive from South Royalton where you will find a local market to stock up on all your favorite foods and beverages, as well as restaurants for dining. You will be on a quiet, private piece of land, but in close proximity to plenty of entertainment.Camp Russell resides on a beautiful, 100+ acre, piece of land, offering a quiet retreat for those who stay. Lawn games, a nap in the hammock, or a hike around the property; it all comes with a great view. The cabin offers a queen size bed on the main level and a twin bed located in the loft; accessed by a ladder. The bed linens are provided during your stay, but you will want to bring your own pillows. There is no access to running water, so a cooler with 5-gallons of water, for drinking and cooking will be supplied. There will also be a canister of water for washing/rinsing outside the camp. When it comes to cooking a delicious meal, you will have access to basic cooking and dining utensils. At Camp Russell, you will find a stovetop inside, a propane flat-top cast iron Weber grill on the porch, or, maybe you enjoy cooking over the fire pit, for a true camp feel. You will have access to a refrigerator during your stay, so bring your favorite foods and drinks to stay fueled. Keep in mind....you are at a family hunting camp where there is wildlife of all kinds. We do our best to keep the critters at bay, but you may see some here and there. Be mindful of keeping the trash picked up and food/scraps contained within reason. There are trash bags and barrels on site that we intend for you to utilize during your stay here. There is a solar-lit path to the portable toilet, and additional flashlights/lanterns available to be used for night lighting. All lights within the camp are remote operated and battery powered. There will be extra batteries supplied. There is absolutely NO smoking allowed.
