What a treat!
Battlestags was a last minute booking for our family road trip. And what a wonderful experience! We arrived late, around 6:45 and were promptly greeted into the magical riverside camp by Paul. He showed us our tent site and the immaculate bathrooms and showers. We asked about food options in town as it was late. He called June at MKT and asked her to stay open a few minutes late so that we could grab a bite to eat. At MKT (so stinking cute!!!!) June greeted us at the door and offered fantastic grab and go food and plenty of great conversation!!! She had baked goods, prepared meals, salads, beer, wine, NA drinks, and so many cute souvenirs! What a treat!!!! The next morning we met Jen and Todd at the campsite where they’d arrived to help Paul and June continue building out and improving Battlestags. A family affair!! So much fun and great conversations! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! They’ve put lots of love into the space and we hope to see Grafton again soon! It’s beautiful!

We’ll be back!!!
What can I say, the beauty of this place coupled with the hosts are absolutely top tier! Had a little bit of a hiccup finding our location but June, Jenn, Paul and Todd made sure my partner and I were completely taken care of and then some! The location is beautifully secluded and spaciously away from the other Yurts/campers… also nearby plenty of shops & food options. The WiFi was strong and reliable, the communal area contained anything you’d need to freshen up, cook/clean etc. bathrooms were spotless also! Definitely gave us a sense of being exclusively outdoors while also comfortable with the amenities nearby. We’ll be back for sure! We can’t thank everyone enough, but particularly Paul for going above and beyond during our stay! Until next time
