This trailer was produced by Spartan Aircraft Company in Tulsa, OK. Owned by oil tycoon, J. Paul Getty, the factory switched from making airplanes to making trailers shortly after World War II, using the same aluminum and manufacturing process used for the airplanes -- making these some of the finest trailers ever produced. On our property we also have a 1957 Spartan Mansion, a 1955 Spartan Mansion, a 1953 Spartanette, a 1960 Airstream, a 1969 Airstream, a 1963 Avion, and a 1965 Streamline -- all unrestored and in various stages of disrepair. Learn more about this land: The 1959 Imperial Villa is one of the largest and most luxurious trailers produced by Spartan Aircraft Co. This fully-restored vintage park model (10'x45', triple axle) offers all the comforts of home with amazing original mid-century modern furnishings. Step back in time and experience the beauty and tranquility of simpler days on our 11-acre, mostly-wooded homesite. Constructed of aircraft aluminum, the all-original interior is birch accented by walnut and brass. Almost all the furnishings are period pieces, fascinating to see and experience -- like entering a hands-on museum from the 1950s. Nestled in the trees and surrounded on all sides by curtained windows, the interior living space has an open, yet cozy feeling. There's a full-sized bathtub/shower, a full-sized & fully equipped kitchen (though it is not fully stocked with food), an on-demand hot water heater, and a two-ton heat pump which thermostatically controls the climate. The 1959 Imperial Villa is one of the largest and most luxurious trailers produced by Spartan Aircraft Co. It waa like we stepped back in time! Everything in the camper was period correct!. From the percolator coffee pot to the board games and magazines. The AC was super cool, which is definitely hard to do with these types of RVs. The shower had great water pressure and wifi was strong enough to fool your boss your working from home! It was a nice cozy spot, but only 10 minutes from town. Lots of great thrifting all around the area, - truly enjoyed our stay.

What a great spot! My wife and I spent two nights in the The Villa for our anniversary and could not have been more happy with our stay. The trailer is amazing and it's obvious that Steve and Carrie have have put alot of love and attention to detail into it. Steve was also a fantastic host. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Blast from the Past
The camper was incredibly cute and well thought out. We were blown away by the attention to detail and the dreamy 50's decor. Everything was very clean and the host was kind and accommodating. There was even firewood and kindling for the fire pit. We had a lovely, relaxing weekend and will definitely recommend this spot to friends and family.

Rrlaxing stay at Tin Can Acres
Our stay was everything we wanted and more! We wanted a relaxing weekend on a cross country road trip that would be safe to stay in during COVID. We felt like we were camping in a campground but had the entire place to ourselves. Very peaceful and the hosts added lottle touches to make the stay extra special. We loved reading the TIME magazines from the 60s and learning more about airstreams on the booklets provided. The location was closw enough to the main roads that any errands for more drinks or ice only took 20 minutes round trip. We will definitely stay again if we come through this area.

Stay in May
Tin can acres is great! It was everything that I was expecting and more and would definitely recommend! The host go above and beyond to make the stay super relaxing and stressfree. Everything in the trailers is put together with originality in mind but still is all functional.

We couldn't have had a better experience at Tin Can Acres! I stayed over the weekend with three of my girl friends and we had a BLAST hanging out in the airstream, swinging in the hammock, and running around the 11 acres exploring. When we arrived, we were greeted by Steve and his wife who gave us a grand tour – they were so accommodating and even gave us a list of all their records to choose which we would like to use during our stay. Since they live close by on the property, they were available to help in anyway we needed. The home was very clean and decorated so thoughtfully; we could really tell how passionate the owners were about this airstream and how much effort went into making it the perfect little getaway. All the decorations, furniture, kitchenware, utensils... everything was mid-century and matched perfectly! Tin Can Acres was the perfect place for our girls weekend, but would be great for couples and families as well. it was the perfect getaway and I hope to visit again soon! :D
