Raw land
Nice place to camp. Danae was very helpful and gave clear directions. Recommended.
Raw land
The location was as described. Couldn’t burn because of a burn ban, but the fire pit was huge. We were aware of the neighbors and their animals, but for solitude, it was much better than an rv park.

Easy access and great host!
I had a nice night on Danae's hipcamp site. As advertised -- raw land. Seemingly recently cleared, so lots of location options near the fire pit. Plenty of firewood, too, so nice amenity. I found a couple of spots that were pretty level for my pick-up w camper bed, others may need a little leveling. If really wet, inquire about conditions -- not sure how the soil is there. Some neighbors kinda close, but private enough. Some barky dogs a ways away, but they were quiet at night. Nice and peaceful. Danae very quick and kind with her responses. One hint: make sure you know where you are going before getting too close. Very limited cell reception for my Sprint/T-Mobile in that area, and my car GPS did not know where the small side street was. There is a Family Dollar and several gas station marts in the town of Harper so ice, etc., is just 5 minutes away. I'd stay there again, no problem.

Great Getaway!
This camping trip was perfect! Danae was quick and responsive to questions. The land is raw and great for primitive camping. (And pup friendly!) I loved the fire pit especially. Next time I stay, I hope to visit the nearby towns of Fredericksburg and Kerrville since they are so close. An awesome stay! I will definitely be back!

Perfect 100
This was exactly what we were looking for... quiet, dark, isolated. Pre-built firepit and a huge log pile was unexpected but perfect

Great spot for camping trailers
Danae was great to work with and answered my questions very quickly. Originally we thought the spot might be a little far from Fredericksburg, but it turns out that it’s actually a great location for Fredericksburg, Kerrville and Mason.
The camping was raw like the description but plenty of grass and gravel for camping and parking vehicles, which was ideal since it rained nearly the entire weekend. It actually feel more remote than it actually is.
