Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Primitive camping or RV parking. Easy access. Right off Hwy 80 and FM 1804. Enjoy a short drive to the Mineola Nature Preserve with paved walking trails, playground and covered pavilion. We are close to several beautiful lakes, historic downtown Mineola and Lindale (home of Miranda Lambert) or just stay and appreciate the stars and trees. We are about a 40 minute drive to Canton (home of the First Monday Trade Days) and about 6 miles from the Amtrak station in Mineola.Pitch your tent or park your RV. The site is off Hwy 80 which allows easy access while traveling. We are also close to a railroad and there is a train depot in historic downtown Mineola. We do have quiet time hours after 9pm for the few neighbors in the area. There is parking available and we are a 10 minute drive from historic downtown Mineola and Lindale (home of Miranda Lambert). We are also within a 15-20 minute drive from Lake Hawkins and Lake Holbrook which both have beach access and Lake Fork which is the “Bass Capital of Texas”.
