Site 3 - Desert camping
if you like unfriendly dogs running
Directions got us there even well after dark. Neighboring property has multiple dogs running loose in the camp area and threatening. One came snarling up to me as I tried to make sure the other wasn’t under our rig as we turned around to leave.

Desert camping
Disappointing
We ended up not staying there. The directions on the website ended at a cafe. Kimberly said to call her when we got to the cafe but there was no cell service!! There were other directions on the website and we tried to find the landmarks mentioned and were unsuccessful. Turns out the cafe was beyond the turn in for the site. We would’ve never found it. Since we didn’t get cell service back until we had traveled 15 miles away it was not feasible to turn around. By this time it was dark and we were scared because we were in the middle of nowhere with no cell service and nowhere to stay for the night.
