Our grandparents moved to the farm on Little Crow Creek on September 27, 1927 from up in Sinking Cove. They had six children with our dad, Charlie Jr., being one of them. Charlie Stubblefield Sr. was a very interesting man with a wide curiosity in just about anything that had to do with history, Indian artifacts, Civil War, fossils, oral history, religion and more. Therefore, the small museum on the property next to the pavilion is dedicated to our grandfather. Charlie Sr. and our grandmother served as Justices of the Peace for over 30 years. Further, our grandmother was the backbone of the family, and was a gracious lady with a special personality to handle the rigors of the day; we miss them both very much. The area has many interesting stories and legacies of characters of yesterday and today. Visiting The Bolo Club will be like stepping back in time to a slower pace where hopefully you will be able to enjoy the atmosphere and spirit of the farm. Bill Club Beach
Tent · With kids
My family and I had a great time on Phillip’s land. We tent camped at the bolo club beach next to the creek. The kids had a blast in the field and with the animals. Phillip was very hospitable, showing us around the property and even providing some extra fire wood. Would recommend.

Magical camping in Tennessee
Tent
We had the best time at Bolo Club! Me and my friends camped there for 2 nights at the beginning of September 2023 during a road trip. The owners, Mary and Charles, were incredibly nice to us; they showed us around, they let us stay under the roof for the first night because there was a high risk of storms... The neighbors were super hospitable as well, and we had the opportunity to have dinner together and chat by the fire, under the stars... It was for sure a magical couple of days! Furthermore, the installations were amazing: lots of space to camp, lots of restrooms and showers, very comfortable and clean, the possibility to buy ice for keeping our beverages cold, very efficient wi-fi... I will definitely come back if I have the chance!

Incredible Experience!
Tent
What an absolutely enchanting experience! The panoramic views at The Bolo Club were simply breathtaking, and as we explored the grounds, the company of horses, turkeys, and other endearing animals was a charming surprise. One standout feature was the barn, illuminated by delicate string lights, creating a magical ambiance. As the sun set, a few talented RV campers sang and played their guitars, making us feel like we were in a scene from Footloose. Without a doubt, we will be returning to The Bolo Club, eager to relive this extraordinary experience and create more unforgettable memories.

Perfect Getaway at the Bolo Club
Absolutely nothing bad to say about the Bolo Club. My girlfriend, my dog and I stayed at “the beach” (right alongside the running water) in our roof top tent and it was prrfect. Host was so kind and welcoming, but gave us plenty of space. The people staying closer to the bathhouse / shared kitchen and cabin lounge were very friendly and fun. A great place with better people. Bathrooms and showers were very well maintained, firewood and ice always available on an honor system. Would absolutely recommend. Thanks y’all!
