Peaceful healing property. We do organic gardening and have animals that you can visit with as well. I have a sculpture studio and art sales gallery that you can come check out. We've been living off the grid for over 30 years. Come visit us and learn about our way of life! Enjoy complete privacy in a cozy forest retreat hut in a beautiful hollow in Middle Tennessee. Accommodates 2. Pretty steep 200 yd uphill hike to hut. Perfect for relationship getaway, spiritual retreat, or writing - planning intensive. Nationally-known spelunking (Indian Grave Point Cave) within 1/2 mile. 3 miles from Center Hill Lake. Hiking trails. Experience our alternative lifestyle with owner built solar log home, organic gardens and sculpture studio. Guests must arrive before dark to ensure finding correct address (GPS errs at last moment) and to facilitate hike up to hut. Potable water, trash disposal, and a toilet are available on site. Pets are permitted, as well as campfires (outside of burn bans). Guests love staying here: "Wow! This place is amazing, beautiful, peaceful, relaxing, and super cozy on cold nights. I can not recommend this place enough. William is a gracious host. He made sure I had enough wood for the wood stove and spring water to drink. The best camping ever!
This place is the best if you're truly want the camping experience! This hut is like an adult tree house. We loved it so much that we will he coming here again! We love hiking up to our spot and enjoyed the beauty of the woods. Not to mention we got to feed the goats and enjoy the beautiful chickens. Rocket, William's dog is the sweetest! Wait til you see William's art work too! He's amazing. If we could rent that little hut for a month we so would! It's really breath taking when you sit by the fire and look up to the sky to see the stars. If you truly love nature and camping, you will appreciate this land.

We had the BEST time at William’s!! His dog, Rocket, was the perfect tour guide and showed us around. The hut has everything you need. The property was absolutely beautiful and we loved listening to the wind in the trees, rain on the roof, and enjoying the fall colors. We will definitely be back. Thank you William for sharing this beautiful place!!

My girlfriend and I loved staying on this property! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had plenty of books/crafts/kitchen supplies to last for days :) Rocket (Williams beagle) was a highlight for us and our dog. We enjoyed the hike and visiting Williams art studio. Cannot wait to visit again, William is a one of a kind human.

Our stay at William’s off-grid Hipcamp was nothing short of amazing. The cabin is nestled in a peaceful, secluded area, offering a true escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. From the moment we arrived, we felt connected to nature, with the surrounding beauty and quiet setting providing the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. The cabin is thoughtfully designed and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. William’s friendly hospitality and the serenity of the site made this a standout experience,

We couldn’t have been happier with the kindness and good vibes of the host. As well has the camp dog Rocket! Truly beautiful, private, and serene. The perfect get away. We will definitely be back! Reading out the experiences of campers previous was one of my favorite parts. I look forward to reading more in the future.

Such a special place!!
This is such an incredible place. My daughter and I absolutely loved it! William is kind, clear, and incredibly gifted as an artist and homesteader. The cabin was magical, the trails were awesome, and his dog Rocket came around occasionally as a sweet bonus. We will absolutely be back soon; it was exactly what we were looking for. Thanks for all of your meaningful hard work, William!! You’re truly so special.
