A completely private campsite all to yourselves within a short drive to many Bruny Island attractions. The Little Garden Farm is our new 100-acre forest and pasture farm that we will begin improving over the next 18 months. The property is located at the base of Bruny's Isthmus, enjoying cool sea breezes in summer and mild temperatures in winter. The Woodlander Campsite is set in our bottom forest paddock, next to a dam, and with a seasonal winter creek. It is private and peaceful, with no other campers, houses, or nearby neighbours. We welcome travellers, with up to two vehicles, who are here to enjoy the peace and quiet (no parties please). The campsite has its own separate access, site toilet, solid picnic table and chairs, firepit and and is approximately 600 meters from where we live. Next to 70 acres of forest the location is great for birdlife, with many of Tassie's endemics around, and other wildlife abundant after dark. We are always happy to help with birding or wildlife tips! Based approx 5 minutes from Alonnah and 10 minutes from Adventure Bay, the "Woodlander" is central to so much of what Bruny Island has to offer.

The Woodlander Bruny - Private Site
Thank you for allowing us to stay at your site. Good access for our 17ft van, nice and quiet but not too far from the rd so easy to get in and out. Fire pit was lovely and your rocky road was delicious 😋 Compost loo great thing to have there.

Perfect Bruny Camping
Such a fantastic site and a perfectly located spot for exploring both ends of the island. Rachel was super helpful and the whole process was a breeze. There was lots of rainfall before my stay so bits of the site were muddy, but there were still heaps of places for me to easily set up my swag. The rain meant I had my own little bubbling brook that I got to fall asleep to the sounds of. I used the hobbit hut a lot more than I thought would - it was great to store some of my equipment and somewhere dry and slightly warmer to get changed. Toilet was clean and convenient. I underestimated how much there is to do here on Bruny and will be back for a week long stay next time!

The Woodlander Bruny - Private Site
Such a great simple site with everything we needed for a weekend escape - a clear level campsite, a neat shelter and picnic table, clean composting toilet, the soothing sounds of the creak, plenty of space to wander and plenty of birdsong. The hosts were quick and clear in communication and the extras of sourdough and rockyroad were a delight! Would happily come back again :)

Our second visit :-)
This was our 2nd visit and we had a wonderful time again! Great for the little ones too. An excellent new addition since our last stay is the composting loo - so good! Colder than our last stay so the campfire was very much appreciated. We will keep coming back!

The Drifter On 3 Creeks Farm
Camp in the middle of a paddock
Big paddock area, central location, close to Bruny pub ( book ahead), no general store only in Adventure Bay Size itself, not much maintained, lots of holes and uneven surfaces, would have been nice if grass was cut. No fire pot (not like in photo)only a circle of small rocks, had a dig down a bit to make it safe. Location peaceful, lovely eggs and bread from Rachel if u order it with the campsite however would recommend to go to the bread fridge on the way to Allonah. Bring your fire wood, only allowed to make fire if temperature reaches max 20 degrees C.and of course if not windy. No rubbish bins, no water or power. This is a site for self sufficient campers. Nice hosts
