Surges Bay wild flowers, is a quiet and sheltered 10 acre, gentle sloping north facing bush block in the Huon valley. Mountain and hill views nestled below the sacred Mt Tongatabu, by the calm waters of the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.
Expect to see many tall towering gum trees and countless native wildflowers. As well as a multitude of native birds including the endangered swift parrot. Experience close encounters with echidna's and wallabys, and you may even see or hear the iconic Tassie Devils and Spotted Quolls in the night.
The property is walking distance to the water (about 300 metres) down a track which follows the property boundary. The block has a clear access road and many camping areas of your own choosing.
The quaint towns of Franklin, Geeveston, Cygnet, Dover and South Port are just a short drive away, and are your gateway to delicious local apple and berry cider houses, national parks, and hiking.Spacious site with multiple areas to park vans or cars for in-car camping, or plenty of flat ground for pitching tents. Bring hammer for tent pegs as the ground can be hard. Beautiful view of Mt Tongatabu, and the site also backs onto untouched Forrest. 300 metre walking track along the property boundary will lead you to the surges bay football oval, and Esperance coast road and the calm waters of the Huon valley.
