Located opposite a cherry orchard close to supermarkets and food outlets, the property has land for off grid camping and caravans. It's within 20 minutes of Hobart, within 2 km of Bonnorong wild life park and 1 km from motor racing circuit. Close to the picturesque town of Richmond a colonial town established in early 1800s. Dog friendly but must be controlled as we have many native animals such as galahs, native hens, ducks, rosella's, echidnas. We grow our own vegetables, have a vast array of fruit trees and variety of berries and free range eggs. Guest's must have their own toilet and shower facilities on board.Enjoy the peace and quiet nestled amongst native trees and listen to the vast array of lorikeets, cockatoos, kookaburras, Rosellas, and native animals, We have all grass sites available and plenty of space to spread your wings. Fire pits are welcome and we can supply eggs, fresh fruit and vegetables for a small fee. Kids and fur babies are most welcome. Although there is a dam on site please be careful as its not fenced.

Short and sweet
Rob was very welcoming and up for a friendly chat. We arrived late and left early so not much time to enjoy but can recommend the stay as a good place to then explore Hobart and nearby.

Very welcoming
Staying at Sunny Banks was a wonderful experience, Rob and his family were very welcoming and even gave us some of their fresh produce from the apple tree. Easy to get into and just an all round comfortable stay thank you

Rob and Lisa were great hosts! So helpful and kind. Was a great location to be close to Hobart and we loved being even closer to take the kids to Bonarong Wildlife Sanctuary. Such a chilled and safe area. Kids enjoyed riding their bikes around and being kids. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks for having us at Sunny

Nice rural outlook with views to Mt Wellington. Land is flat with plenty of room for the 2 sites. Hosts are welcoming, friendly and their local knowledge was helpful. About 30 minutes to Hobart. We enjoyed our stay. Jo and Tom

Nice and Peaceful spot but still close enough to a Town with All resources you'd need. Rob was a great host. Welcoming and quick to reply if any I had any questions... Top spot if you're travelling through that area.
