Welcome to Sherwood River Camp, our self contained camping grounds with access to the Wild Mersey MTB trails. The camp grounds are located just 8 minutes from Latrobe and 15 minutes from Devonport. The camping area is located on the banks of the Mersey River where you can enjoy your favourite water activities or just relax by the water side and enjoy the sounds of nature. Campers must be self contained with their own camping toilet and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. Pets are welcome but please keep them under control. We have rain water available as well. We recommend a 4x4 vehicle when towing caravans as the driveway to the property is gravel and on a hill. This is a working farm so please have respect for the host property and livestock. $10 per person, per night. Kids under 12 are free so don't put them as part of your booking. Welcome to Sherwood River Camp, our self contained camping grounds. Sherwood River Camp
A tranquility camp with everything
We caught up for a fantastic 60 th Birthday with friends from NW, North and South so central for everyone. Campfire and a tranquil running river was very memorable. Great walking and bike tracks with the bush on your doorstep not to mention great shopping and the fun chocolate festival in Latrobe on highly recommend this spot

Wonderful camping spot
Really nice stay and we were right by the water. Got to see a platypus and enjoy the sound of running water. The sites were beautifully maintained and we will definitely stay again!

Sherwood River Camp
A peaceful and relaxing place to stay. Platypus feeding morning and night right infront of out camp site. We'll be back to camp and swim this summer.
