Located just a 40 minute drive from Launceston, Penpol Park is a beef grazing property next to the world renowned Bridestowe Lavender Farm. We offer a camping experience among serene natural bush with creek frontage. With plenty of space to set up a tent or park a caravan. Amenities are basic and would suit the self contained. All pets are welcome and the camping area is fenced. Bridport, Scottsdale and Lilydale are a short 15-20 minute drive. While mountain bikers paradise Derby is a 35 minute drive.Several dispersed camp spots situated in a quiet setting surrounded by native flora and fauna. The area is safe and secure, but please be mindful that there may be cattle grazing. A short few minute drive further up the road is the picturesque Bridestowe Lavender Farm. Please be mindful of the natural environment and be sure to take your rubbish with you.

Penpol Park
Quiet and private.
Dane was a responsive host and very kind leaving lots of wood at each camp spot. Unfortunately being Easter the nice spots as shown in the pictures were taken and our spot was very lumpy and dusty. It will be a nice spot when the grass grows. Never the less we had fun.

Remote & peaceful
Remote & peaceful even with other campers there. Fire pits available for use with wood kindly provided. It’s quite dry up there so dusty rather than particularly green but nonetheless still nice.

Penpol Park
It is remote and primitive, as listed. You need to be fully self sufficient, but that was the beauty of it. We loved our stay there. So quiet and lots of bird life. Our dog loved it there too.

We loved camping in this spot. Beautiful grounds surrounded by Wattle & Gum Trees with flat areas for tents. There is a fire pit and Dane kindly left us some wood to use for the fire. We were able to get to the area with 2WD.
