We grow and process organic certified medicinal herbs and plants. The camping site is located in a beautiful location overlooking the lavender fields, in bloom december/january, with the ever-changing Mt Roland in the background. On days with cold southerly winds, alternative campingsites are available on the farm. Please contact us to find out. Includes use flushing toilet, hot shower and laundry (external access). Approx. 300m from the campsite. We are pet friendly. We've got room for up to 5 separate bookings. Due to shortage of personnel, we can no longer offer the farm tours. Hope this will change coming season 2024/25. But hipcampers are welcome to have a walk on the farm. We are working together with other organic certified farmers. They lease parts of our land to grow vegetables. Hipcampers are welcome to have a walk around their crops as well. Big news: we have started to build a tearoom with possibilities to organise herbal workshops and give education about growing and using medicinal herbs. . It will also have a shop and space to enjoy light refreshments, organic coffee, chocolate, juice and herbal tea. Extra bathroomfacilities will be available to our hipcampers only. Hope to have it finished season 2025/26.We grow and process organic certified medicinal herbs and plants. The flat camping site, protected by a full grown shelterbelt, is located in a beautiful location overlooking the lavender fields, in bloom december/january,  with the ever-changing Mt Roland in the background.     On days with cold southerly winds, alternative campingsites are available on the farm (please ask your host). This is a beautiful and unique place. Grape vines, olive trees, fruit trees all growing organically, (completely without the use of any chemicals) and a really peaceful atmosphere. The walk to the bathroom and washing up area is well worth it as you’d be hard pressed to find a lovelier bathroom while camping, with a great little room next to it to use as living room or waiting for bathroom room, with some beautiful artwork and even a piano. The camping ground has a clear stunning view straight across to Mt Roland and a small forest behind it combining Aussie gum trees and magnificent European pines which are like classic Christmas trees, where you can get some shade in late arvo sun. It’s a gem.

Marleen Herbs Farm Campsites
Marleen's Herb Farm was in a really lovely location. We had a view of the mountains and were surrounded by herbs and fruit trees. The host, Marleen, was very inviting. She even left us fresh eggs from her chickens and lemons. The campsite was private, in a nearby field. The facilities were nice, shower and toilet, but rather far from the campsite, approximately 300 meters. It was a pleasant walk but quite a hike for two retirees. The weather was cold, in the off season, and a late night walk to the toilet was difficult. Overall, I would recommend this campsite.

Stunning view!
Lovely mown, flat grassy site with a stunning view to Mt Roland. Exceptional bathroom (other Hipcamp owners should take note!), it’s a lovely stroll through the gardens 300m from site. Perfect final night stay in Tasmania, thanks.

Lovely and serine.
What a lovely and serine place to stay. Our hosts were informative and very happy to provide advice around what to see in the area. The bonus was learning about organic herb farming. Fascinating! We will stay again for sure!
