Selection of natural areas.
We loved staying on Ian's land at Eventide Sanctuary. As we only stayed one night, we camped right at the entry, which was great as we were surrounded by so many friendly farm animals. We were able to walk around freely in daylight hours, and paid for a walking tour of the farm which I highly recommend. Ian's vision of compassion and sustainability should be supported and I would absolutely stay here again.

Choice of amazing areas to camp!
Camping AND helping the animals!
Booked a one night stay at Eventide and loved my short stay! Ian met me on arrival and then helped me choose a spot to park up given the wind and possible rain. He then introduced me to all the animals! Jessie the little lamb, Wally the farm manager (dog), George and Hugo the cows, Tom the lonely duck, the cheeky goats, the ponies, the donkeys - he knows them all! It was amazing to stay in amongst all the animals and the view is incredible. All the proceeds from the stay goes towards the animals (they're all rescues). It's great to know you're helping while also having a lovely place to stay the night. Would definitely recommend staying if you need a campsite in the area! Also accessible by sealed roads for all the hire vans! I'll be back if I'm in the area.

Choice of amazing areas to camp!
Amazing views and the animals are super friendly. Very close to Hobart so it was very convenient to get to and from. Host is very friendly and helpful.

Nice spot
It's a really nice location and the host is a really good person. There's plenty of space on the property to be secluded if you have a good set up and there's heaps of animals too.
Super easy access to Port Arthur if you're going there
